Second, go to conference and talk about your idea so that all people kno
w it's your idea. publish your paper with you as the first author. That'
s all you can do legally and properly. But dont make it a too big deal.
The most important thing is to let your advisor support you in your futu
re career. If you are really good, you should have many good ideas later

earns less money than a 10% graduate from UC Merced? Why doesn't the industr
y world think the UC Merced graduate is better? Because they know Harvard's
top 50% means a lot more than UC Merced's 10%.
But the admission system just kills the chance for the average student in Gu
nn to get admitted by Harvard. He actually ends up at UC Merced and his futu
re is largely affected.
