, while watching his swing, he had a very strange movement near the top,
actually he raised the club vertically a little bit at the top before
swinging down. So I think he is little different or should say little unique
in his swing. Jim Furyk is very upright at the top.

每天workout3个小时，（直到最近上周的比赛他说他有点累了，才减到90分钟。）
他的动作其实也很有特点。在backswing的最高点，有个极为明显的停顿，然后再挥出
去， 令人印象及其深刻。

对我来说，印象最深的是最后一轮的第18洞，他2杆领先的情况下，开球开出的那个big
cut, 飞过的距离能越过拐角处的沙坑，简直太牛了；同样Antony Kim的tee shot，真
好短于该沙坑，算是安全吧，Kim依然还有178码的距离到球洞，但Village可能只有150
码左右；同组的Jim Furyk大概有200码多点，他的球在rough里。这是个460码的par 4
， 这样算起来，village的carrying distance 超过300码， Kim在280-290之间，而
Furyk在260码。
如果我的有260码的carrying distance, 看来我也没啥好抱怨的。 |

But I do not think so. Many players did not follow Tiger pattern. Ernie,
Fred Couple, Jim Furyk, etc. They keeps their own swing style, even uglier
swing like Jim Furyk.
To me, changing swing style is one of the worst mistakes people makes,
including pro.
Jordan never worry to gain extra yards to his advantage. His swing is not as
perfect as Tiger, so there is no need to change. :)

I don't know if Garcia have ever changed his swing. He is a typical two-
swing planer. Also he only has one instructor of his lifetime - his father.
I don't think "Tiger used to be very upright". there is only one guy I say
his back swing is very upright - Jim Furyk. But his downswing is a perfect
45 degree.
When Tiger was young, it's true his swing plane is upright which lead to the
cross-line at the top of his backswing. He deosn't like it, so he changed
it to f |

hitting zone, a good position at the top of backswing will definitely help
you to get there. Well. lots of good player have unconventional backswing,
Jim furyk , maybe kenny perry, but they somehow manage to return the club to
the ball as well as other pros.

position b to c is not too far from conventional, what's distinct is his
backswing from a to b, just like what you said. but you cannot learn his
backswing.
kenny perry's swing, is in my opinion the most difficult one to control. he
bends his left arm on his backswing, like many double digit handicapers. i
suspect he's been playing since a very young age, and he's able to reproduce
