it's not for sure. The manual also mentioned after showing the air filter
inside:
"Air filters may also be located outside of the furnace using a remote
filter grille. the filter grille could be in a hallway, wall or in the
ceiling."
I have filters in wall and ceiling, and did not find the opens for Air
filter around the units, so I'm confused. But in most case, people are
talking the air filter inside the unit, even my |

First, use passive sound proofing method such as glue a lot of acoustic foam
on the wall and door of your furnace room, put in duct silencer, line the
inside of duct with liner. Most cheap homes are built with raw sheet metal
which actually radiates sound. Duct liner installed on the inside of the
duct will help a lot. You can google acoustic foam (make sure you get the
one that is treated with fire retardants); duck silencer; duct liner.

I can not think of one situation where this kind of hybrid setup could be useful (or make financial sense). Guess it would depend on your local unit price for gas and electricity.
I think you will much better off getting either a ground source heat pump (vertical loop) or a pure gas setup. (if gas is |

1. 观察一下furnace停转的时候，温控计是否call for heat。一般新的温控计在面板
上会显示这个；可以把设定温度调到90度，强行call for heat. 如果是，说明温控计
没问题。（具体还要测试W and C之间是否有24伏电压）
2. 一般limit switch 出故障，控制电路板会自动尝试几次点火，如果全部fail,控制
板会lock out.
3. 一般公司的limit switch 是不可调节的，不存在设置问题。
4. 关于2， 如果出气，回气的隔栅堵塞， 风机会自动用最大功率输出风量，如果电机
本身的温度超过一定预设置， 风机就会停转（因为风机内有thermal protective
switch)，直到温度降到一定程度，控制板会自动重新点火。
5. 也可能是gas valve关闭或堵塞，这样控制板无法检测到点火，反复尝试。 |

用在办公室/商业就无所谓，但要用在家里宁愿选个低噪音/柔和风的那种，还要看你放

小了很多， 感觉家里安静多了。
但是现在还有个小问题， 地下室的refrigerant line震动的比较厉害，而且还有挺大
的声音。正好family room在上边， 所以也能听到点嗡嗡的声音。虽然不是很大，但是
也挺心烦的。
refrigerant line的声音应该是通过compressor传来的，不知道用什么办法能减低点噪

Nitride Hot Surface Ignitor。但是它只能管右边的三个burner。最左边的burner旁
边有一个L形的貌似ignitor的东西，只有一根火线接在上面。
现在我最左边的这个burner经常会点不着，偶尔点着貌似也是右边的带起来的。我把那
个L形的东西拿出来看，貌似是有些损坏。但是网上又找不到同样的ignitor，让我怀疑
它到底是不是一个ignitor。它就像一根粗铁丝，顺着gas管的方向伸进去，然后在里面
拐个弯，挡在gas管口的地方。
各位有人家里有类似的东西吗？请帮忙鉴定一下到底是不是ignitor，如果是，哪里有
的换配件？

今天，furnace的风扇出了问题．如果thermostat设在auto,风扇就不转，点火没有问题
，因为风扇不转，过一会，火就自动灭了．只有把风扇设到on,才能保证风扇转，屋子
才会热起来．
问题，是控制风扇的电路板坏了，还是thermostat的auto挡坏了？
如何检查？
