to substitute friskies . For the time being, as long as kitty is willing
to eat friskie, feed him some friskie fish flavor can food that he is
accustomed to may not be too bad.Mix the doctor's prescription food with
friskie can food.
I agree in the long run, we should ban friskies.

canned food for my two cats. At the beginning, two of them still prefer
Friskies. I thought it might be more a habit thing and decide to give it
more time. Then I found out that it's because the Friskies Canned food has
Gravy in it and my cats love that. Each time they would go for the gravy
first.
I decide to make my own gravy and add on top of wellness and evo canned food
. It worked! They love it and I stop Friskie |

think they are available on amazon too.
walmart and petsmart for friskie junk can food (my cat got used to Friskies
taste. If I don't mix some Friskie once for a while, she will eat very little).
But if your cat is not addictive to Friskies, you can avoid that brand as much as possible. |

low fat/carb can food for your cats.
I have one big finicky cat who basically only ate friskies before.
I tried to change her diet several times but failed. In October, I finally
decided to give a last try since she was having serious diarrhea which was
caused by Friskies. Then I spent two months on food trial and finally
completely eliminated Friskies out of her diet. During that period, she

我家大宝曾拉肚子两三个月（blood in soft/watery fecal, very stinky). 血检，fecal/urine examinations 都没问题。、一开始医生偏向于认为是IBD. 后来发现实际上是对corn, wheat gluten之类过敏。所以改成以主要是grain free food such as weruva， blue buffalo wildness grain free chicken recipe dry food， halo grain free dry food。 每天给些 Halo liv-a-littles treats， 偶尔撒些FortiFlora, Nu-Cat Liquid, GNC superfood complex premium formula powder 等等营养补品在她的食物上。 唯一不健康的是每天要喂她些friskies的海鲜味的can food (她很馋friskies). 但是坚决不敢喂她非海鲜味的friskies can food或是friskies treats,因为它们... 阅读全帖 |

水喝。但是我家猫猫肠胃不好，刚开始只能吃干猫粮，调理了大半年，才吃罐头不拉稀。
Frisky罐头里面也有 meat by product，不算好吧。
Frisky 的罐头就很开心，但我不会给他们吃Frisky 的干猫粮 这样做对不对？ |

Actually don't feed any cat food that is not grain free.
My cat had stinky diarrhea with blood for two months until we figured out
it was the corn/wheat/soy content in those trash food caused problem. Spent

10岁公猫, 6个月前 得过尿道堵塞,吓死了全家人, 目前没有重新发过.
(1)现在是全部吃罐头.
(2)VET叫我们吃science diet, 他不碰.
(3)换来换去, 他喜欢吃friskie 的 鱼罐头, 上面标有 urinary health formula.....
(4)研究后了解到 friskie 罐头质量差, 但是幸运的是尿道病没有复发, 这也是我们现
在的底线了.
(5)现在想换牌子是因为 (A)听说FRISKIE材料差, (B)猫时不时的吐, 估计和A有关系.

主食都是罐头，还有几大玻璃碗清水天天换。
即便现在有的时候为了讨喜省事（有的猫就是不吃高级罐头），喂得还是最便宜的
friskies海鲜罐头。以前我还给friskies干粮buffet.后来听了很多垃圾食品可能导致
生病的事情，害怕了，赶快把干粮换成其他好牌子的。friskies干粮当成treat少量喂
。娃生病是很操心的。她又不会说话。粮食怎么说还是便宜。医药费可是成千上万的。 |

某一天起忽然就不吃干粮了（Blue wilderness），以为是口腔或者牙的问题，经观察
也没发现什么，牙比我还白。买了一小包friskies测试，吃得极欢。
罐头呢，一开始wellness和innova混着吃，后来innova就不吃了…… 然后买了各种口
味的wellness，渐渐鱼味的wellness也不吃了，只吃鸡的…… 楼主松了口气，就买了

刚吃了没几天，朋友给了几盒Weruva的鸡丝罐头，于是悲剧发生了，那箱wellness的鸡
罐头彻底不吃了！天天就等着鸡丝罐！！一顿两个3OZ的……
如果一天真喂两顿鸡丝罐的话，这货伙食费就跟我差不多了…… OTZ

用过的盒子盖子扔了。
干粮先买小包装的是对的，因为猫不一定爱吃哪种口味的。干粮可以
买些稍微好些的(比如blue buffalo，california natural)。 如果嫌贵或是猫不爱吃
，还可以跟差的干粮(比如friskies，一般猫都爱吃) 混着吃。 注意保证
猫有干净的水喝。

当主粮吃，很不健康。

第一次，很久以前。我当时给她测了体温，是正常的。原因是头天跟着我吃了荔枝，我
想大概类似于上火之类的。
第二次，大约三个周前。萎靡了一天，也是到处吐，吐到最后什么都没了那种。原因不

天从超市的罐头friskies换成了wellness的12.5oz的那种大桶的罐头，我们家罐头喂得

后，我又试着给她喂同一罐罐头，没事，一直到吃完。之后喂得罐头又是friskies（买

然后昨天晚上又开喂wellness的罐头，今天就又病了，症状类似，现在还埋汰着，刚用
针筒喂了一点水，怕脱水。如果是
换wellness罐头的问题的话，早上就应该出现症状了阿，可是今天早上还叫我起来给她
吃，那时还好好的呢，大概小中午
才吐的。刚刚想起来的就是昨晚她偷了我一个泡芙（里面有奶油的那种），吃了一点被
我发现后扔垃圾桶了，今天早上发现
她从垃圾桶翻出来了，地上有吃剩的半个，所以想也许是吃变质的奶油了？

我的petsitter以前是一个vet techinician, 据她说 vet 里面都是friskies 和 fancy
feast, 猫没胃口吃别的，可能有胃口吃这两种junk food.
亲身经历：咪咪刚开始来罐头照foster family 给friskies, 吃的毛都黯淡无光，换了Evo,wellness 后现在毛都闪闪的。 真花不多，我每月少shopping 一次就在里面了。 |

for dry food, but they fed her Friskies canned food all the way too :( When
i took Mimi to annual check up, Vet didn't find anything wrong with her but
didn't say she looked healthy either (he said Dodo looked healthy).
I later learned from here that Friskies is junk food so i changed to Evo,
wellness, i can see her hair started to shine right away.
It's never too late to change :) We all made innocent mistakes.

尿路系统感染本来就是猫比较常见的疾病之一，岁数越大的猫越容易得。像Friskie这
种by product多的猫粮更容易导致泌尿系统疾病。这个病已经得了就得做好复发的准备
，好了以后说不定也会再发病，买个保险吧。喂优质猫粮还是一定要坚持！

Weruva
They have different flavors. My cat likes the Weruva mideast feast with
grill tilapia. It's so juicy. She doesn't like Weruva's chicken flavor. But
I mix TikiCat/Weruva's chicken flavor ones with the mideast feast so that
she won't have too much fish in her diet. Now she still likes junky Friskie can
food a lot which I occasionally mix with TikiCat/Weruva in to cheat her into
eating more high quality food.
Btw, you can buy a ceramic pet drinking fountain at petco's website.

沙盆里有两个大尿团，清了之后，kitty又去尿了，不过只有小鸡蛋大小（不会又堵上
了吧？！）。。。
另外昨晚给的是vet开的处方罐头，kitty一点都没碰。还没去买新猫粮， 开friskie的
罐头，他也没碰（以前好歹吃点），把friskie干粮泡水，拿在我手里喂他吃了点，我
把另两个罐头放手上他也不吃。尤其那个处方罐头，他连闻也不想闻。。。
现在吃的方面我该怎么条理啊？他是不饿还是没胃口啊？ |

罐头。它的表现是，吃了ff就不吃别的好牌子，但吃了Friskies，连ff都不愿意吃，更
别说别的牌子。后来狠心一直不给这两种，也就戒掉了，好好吃别的牌了。

我等一下更改原文，說詳細點，
你發那個梳子鏈接失效了，我也有普通貓用的梳子，不親人貓挺喜歡梳毛，但僅限于背部，側面，腹部，腳，尾什么的都不能碰，另一個，太皮，梳毛就咬，伸爪子抓，不是咬出血那種也很用力咬很痛那種，而且就是不讓你梳，堅決反抗，梳毛一次得搞半小時也搞不好，我很少幫他梳毛，現在更加沒有可能了，時間上根本是擠不出來的，而且梳了也會周圍跳，直接抹家具好了，干脆不梳了，
貓砂你說的我用過一段時間，但是兩貓巨多尿多屎，很快就得換砂，濕了之后和尿液混合味道很大，先生的哮喘變很嚴重，試過混合水晶砂，效果也不好，一開始一貓的時候是全水晶砂，但是漸漸價錢承擔不起了，現在更加是無法承擔了，而且水晶砂效果也一般，現在是完全土砂，雖然肯定對貓貓沒有那么好，但是只能這樣了。還有你說的紙箱，我懷孕的時候就是那樣做，我把紙箱粘好切好門口，貼膠紙在底面（為免滲透箱子），墊一個墊子在箱下面供他們如廁后把腳上的砂擦掉一點，因為我家一貓很皮，扒拉砂子周圍都是，所以紙箱一定要很高然后切一個進出口，那樣才不會... 阅读全帖 |

的猫妹，她是我的第二只猫。她三个月的时候我从PETSMART领养来的，是为了给猫儿子
作伴，我一手抱大的。小时候和我亲，不抱就不睡。长大后就不理人了，她会来蹭我，
偶尔跟我撒娇，来找我睡觉，但不许我碰她，不许我主动拉她来一起睡，梳毛时候身体僵
硬，态度也很勉强。但可以一起玩。后来我发现她不是不喜欢我碰她，是她胆子很小，
性格过于腼腆，加上她哥哥经常欺负她欺负的很厉害，所以我碰她的时候她都会吓一跳。

的是封闭式公寓，不可能让他出去，出去肯定就得走丢了。于是他就开始郁闷。
大家都知道猫是爱清洁的动物，经常用舌头刷洗自己。我的猫儿子因为郁闷后来
都不清理皮毛了，身上的毛经常是乱糟糟的，黯然失色的。每天除了睡觉就是耷
拉着脑袋站在门口等着人放他出去玩，我当时很替他痛苦，都想让他出去算了。
可是出去的结局就是走丢和被车轧死，我没办法接受这个。于是就领养了前面那

从上周六确诊开始，简直是噩梦般的五天。。。
简单说一下背景：
我家有俩猫，大猫奶牛，我05年在他4个月大时领养他的，今年该满6岁了，卡擦过。一
向乖巧可爱，聪明伶俐，饱受人民群众喜爱。没啥缺点，除了嘴馋。身体一直不错，除
了两年前得过一次尿路感染。送vet那里给治好了。后来一直喂Purina UR处方干猫粮，
free－fed；每两三天给一个罐头当treat。（最近出了事情才知道，我这样让他free
fed干猫粮是多么的不健康。。。悔不当初）
去年5月，带他去体检，一切正常，除了略overweight。那时奶牛16磅。
去年11月底，我们搬了家。奶牛非常depressed，不好好吃饭、情绪高度紧张了几天，
后来慢慢恢复了。但是明显看出奶牛瘦了一大圈。以为是stress造成的，见他已经吃睡
如常，玩闹如常，就没太在意。（再次悔不当初。。。）
最近两周，奶牛开始吐猫粮，还偶有拉肚子现象。于是送去看vet。结果查出来是糖尿

发帖数: 6158 | 48 上周四晚看着俩猫觉得病得不行了，好不容易喂点吃的，黄猫又吐，黑猫还甩鼻血，周
五一早赶紧又带去看vet了。vet一见俩猫都说看着很可怜，体重比一周前轻了半磅，一
共才4磅的小猫呀！放心的是，俩猫都还只是感冒，也没有发烧。鉴于之前的抗生素又
难吃又没效，vet换了另一种抗生素而且加了flavor，当场喂了一次，还要接着喂三周
。另外还嘱咐一定要让他们吃东西，听说我现在喂的wellness干粮和罐头，就说暂时不
要喂了，先换成味道重的，哪怕是friskies的junk food也没关系，可以以后再换回来
。然后就这么交了两棵猫树的钱，把猫安顿回家上班去了。
到晚上回家的时候俩猫居然都奇迹般地好起来了，开始精神地走来走去，鼻子眼睛都没
什么分泌物，呼吸也不费劲。打开一罐新买的friskies罐头，立马就开始抢着吃，真是
比早上大有改观啊，难道那一点点剂量的新抗生素这么有效吗？看到猫有精神人也有干
劲了，终于把到了两天的猫树盒子拆开，给猫猫们搭游乐场了~~
话说猫真的很怕吸尘器的声音啊，黄猫立马躲到床底下，黑猫就在纸盒后面露个小头，
太可爱了！！ |

吃。非要吃friskies.只好在她们饿极了时候开weruva，没准有猫会叼两口。其中有一
只几个月前起，突然只吃干粮。还最爱friskies的干粮和吹吹。我只好平常多给她的碗
里加liv-a-littles protein treats，再外加一小碗猫奶，鼓励她多喝。 |
