经查，本屯纬度稍高于中国沈阳，不幸与铁岭基本相同，所以冬天甚为寒冷漫长，从11月底到第二年的4月初。本屯冬天经常大雪弥漫，暴风雪的次数在5到10次之间，如果你从未见过雪又着实想见的话，恭喜你来到波士顿，保你见个够！冬天倚赖公共交的话，厚衣服自然必不可少。

上个周末去Camping了两天，boston及其LD也加入了我们，还有另外几个朋友。
大体形势如下: white mt.的叶子已经进入peak，估计能维持到本周末，然后估计就是
秃树了。今年降温很快，红得早。
Day trip的推荐景点:
沿I-93北上，进入Franconia Notch State Park以后先去Flume Gorge，一个很短的
round trip，漂亮的瀑布。在此可以买Flume Gorge和
Cannon Mt.的联票，省两块钱。大约2-3小时转一圈吧。
然后开车北上大约6miles，在34B出去坐Cannon Mt. Tram上山顶，山顶有个小
observation tower，此处是不用爬山就可以看风景的绝佳之处，大家参看Boston的照

发帖数: 494 | 8 又到了一年一度的赏枫季节，行程表上自然少不了White mountain白山风景区这一站。从Boston出发，沿着93号高速公路向北开车过去大约2个小时，即可到达景区西南角的Lincoln镇。一路上的红叶景象已经引人入胜。

第一站是NH州最为出名的Franconia Notch State Park，其中位于93号公路34A出口是Flume Gorge，34B是Cannon Aerial Tramway，都是大多数人来白山必去的景点，一到了赏枫季节，人头攒动，游人如织。其中的Flume Gorge, 是个水流冲刷出的峡谷，有一条沿山涧而上的栈道， 沿着栈道行走可以欣赏到森林、溪流、峽谷、瀑布等多种景观。

离开Flume Gorge向北不远就是欣赏满山红叶的好地点Cannon Mountain，可以乘坐Cannon Aerial Tramway缆车轻松直达山顶。在山顶有一小圈trail，可以向四个方向远眺。正值红叶Peak时节，满山遍野的红仿佛要燃烧起来一般。

发帖数: 2285 | 16 昨天去看红叶了，因为是当天去当天回，所以没有开太远，只去了Franconia Notch一
带和K-way。
visitor center开门，并且可以用厕所。 真正看红叶的地方，所有厕所都关门了。
叶子现在很美，再红一点点就更好了，可是也有很多地方开始秃了。 最近却雨水，所
以有水的地方不如往年漂亮， 湖水和河水还有些臭味。
不过昨天温度很好，没有风不感觉冷，中途下了点小雨但是不耽误看风景，山里走走，
感觉还是很不错的。 |

十月的第二个星期，红叶在WHITE MOUNTAIN有一些些过气，
还是决定去一淌。因为WHITE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL FOREST
的面积大，所以和康州景点分散的小补丁式的感觉应该不
太一样。
从CT出发，大致路线是91 north->302west-> 93 south
-> 112 west->16 west-> 25 south -> 湖区。基本把主
要的路都走了一走。东边的MOUNTAIN WASHIONTON是NEW
ENGLAND的最高峰，这次免了，还是等以后在说吧，冬天
可以去看看雪景(所以叫WHITE MOUNTAIN 吗)，唯一就是

十mile的一个小town,on-site的时候我开车从费城机场到那里开了一个多钟头(好久)..
所以我可能就近找房子...
现在该开始看找apartment,可以实在没什么经验不知道怎么在网上找?网上直接搜
apartment+地名,出来一大堆,又不知道好坏....又不太可能实地去跑很多地方..
所以问问各位版友,你们有什么推荐的网站方便找租的apartment的吗?有客观review的

Public Transportation: The closest Metro station is Franconia-Springfield.
The OmniRide bus provides service to the mall on weekdays only. On weekends,

一天来回应该都没问题。每天都去一趟，只要他们喜欢。
