排除我无知的可能性)。以前的文章很多只是假设有一点开始裂了，模拟个fracture,如
何propagate之类的。呼唤懂的人出来谈谈。
相对来说turbuelence近来到是有不错的进展(DNS?)，以前的许多牛们的理论也相继被
重新讨论。
其实数值模拟本身有很大的进步，芯片也是越来越猛，问题是对物理本质的了解才是最
根本的。虽然说有些问题是物理本质了解了但是算不动，但大多数问题还是物理本质的
问题。 |

08年phd毕业了, 进了一个consulting firm给核电站做service, 用的大部分就是最基
本的fracture mechanics和FEA. 很多大公司现在很少配这方面的人, 有什么活直接就
外包了.
去年绿卡EB1到手, 琢磨着以后career怎么走. 年中正好一个大的能源(发电)公司找我
去做Tech manager, 就管FEA/fracture这一块. 现在刚开始. FEA这块的不足之处你们
看的都挺对, 我这里就只说大家可能没看到的好处. FEA最大的好处就是什么都能搭上
边, 如果人机灵点, 对以后的career发展非常有利. 比如楼主后来转了design, 那就是
因为有了经验和reputation, 转起来容易. 再看远一些, 如果平时注意积累和学习, 那
几年以后, 很有可能成为一个对公司整体产品线很了解的一个人. 再往后走前途无量.
我现在公司一个director就是从FEA组出身, 注意自身积累,慢慢就上位了. 这次很好玩
的是跑到我原来公司做VP去了. 大家开玩笑说做了个trade.

Materials, 还是Fracture Mechanics?
小弟新来，正在系里找advisor做Thesis，初步勾搭了三个老师可以选。
第一个老师是做Electro Mechanical System的，他上的课也就是用有限元软件分析电
磁场。不过一上来就说没钱没funding。
第二个老师是研究Composite Material的，用传感器嵌入材料测量各种数据，就大概聊
了一下没深入了解。
第三个老师的研究方向是Fracture Mechanics, Computational Solid Mechanics，感
觉这个方向深入下去会比较无聊。
个人来说对Electro Mechanical System 更有兴趣一些，但是不知道以后做下去有没有
出路。
想问一下版上的各位大神有没有好的建议？
拜谢了
PS 感觉本科学的东西都很乱，跟现在选哪个老师的联系也不大，跟了谁都差不多 |

Trauma，一个是车祸，一个是从自己家的楼梯上摔下来。
车祸的女孩我是知道的，三天前 我上班时进病房的，因为车祸造成了颈椎的不稳定和
C2的骨折。病人刚到病房，脑神经手术医生已经等在那里准备给她装Halo。女孩一看到
Halo就开始声嘶力竭的哭喊……另一层楼的护士给ICU打电话抱怨，你们ICU的护士真会
折磨病人。
交接班结束后，我例行公事地查房。车祸的女孩正对着镜子往她的Halo上缠花绳，看到

为你原来牙洞就比较大，补的最下面就已经接近骨头了，而且又有了fracture，照片太
小，看不清fracture 到什么位置，但非常可能会到了牙根上了，这种情况基本只能拔
牙了，如果不拔，唯一可能的treatment是crown lengthening, post&core buildup,
crown，就算都作了，prognosis也不好，早晚还是会出问题，还要拔。还不如现在一步
到位，还能最大程度preserve你的骨头。至于你的事故，gum tissue 会很快愈合的，
不会有任何后遗症的，也许你可以要求给你一些credit，象把拔牙的费用免了等。 |

朱令父亲：贝志城给我打了个电话，说有人觉得是不是就是铊中毒。
