went there last time. Not only dealers hate it, many players dislike too.
Guess people like the feeling to touch the cards and chips physically.
Buy SHFL stock if all casinos use those, you would make big money.

throwing hands face up. He folded AA when top pair on board J paired on
river, he folded AK
with board AA1037 when the other guy raised him big. I felt good when he
folded KK when he bet 20 on A82 board and I raised 25 with 89 suited.
He was running bad down to ~600, he got around 1.2k when I sat down. Now
comes the hand: the old man limped and called my $15, 3 handed saw the flop
3310. I bet 25,he called and the other guy |

face to face, ppl give away a lot of information (unless they're sneaky
enough to reverse it). even without any tell, you can see what type of a guy
he is, e.g., how he dresses, is he drunk, what type of casino member card
he carries (regular or not), educated or jerk, ... all these can help too.
one interesting hand a pro posted on last issue of cardplayer magazine was
in a 5/10NL game at foxwoods casino. he's up against a strong solid regular.

will brag to everyone. But 4 out 5 times, they gave up value-betting and
even
folded to AQ+ type of hands. This in turn will encourage regulars to play
comfortably against you. It doesn't help your image, it just help them to
narrow down your range. A good player will isolate you and play every pot
against you in a straightforward fashion. Overall, it is minus EV play.

shouldn't fold that hand. Most of the time (99%), I do make the call.
However, I missed some info here. After I raised to $20, this guy called and
said to the guy next to him, "You know what, he got AA".
Don't know why he made this assumption since I raised many pots with other
hands and that was first time I got AA that night. I thought he was fully
aware of what he was against.(Maybe I was wrong.)

we all know poker is a game of odds, but we tend to forget about it "all of
a sudden" now and then.
a few beginner's mistakes are:
1) we tend to put our opponent on a specific hand (like QQ here), instead of
a range (and then value our hand against this range). let's say if the flop
is not Q93, but K93 or J93, would our "gut" tell us he got KK and JJ too?
if we do, we're playing a weak tight style which is typical for beginners

pot worth $50 dollars before flop, flopped 2, 5, 6, with 5, 6 in same suit
with my pocket cards, so I had flash draw, I led out betting $30 to semi-
bluff, 两个人跟， pot now had $140, turn was a 8 with same suit as mine, so
I completed my Q high flush draw. 我 bet $50 for value (pot now $190). （其

发帖数: 15860 | 22 看你们在哪里了，纽约，费城，DC周围都有很多bus。一般中国店老板都知道，或者有
广告。
AC目前还营业的有11家赌场：
1)Trump下面3家，Trump Plaza, Trump Marina, Taj Mahal，都有勾搭的bus公司.
Marina的地点不在boardwalk上(和Borgata, Harrahs在另一边)，不是很方便。
2)Harrahs下面四家，Showboat(和Taj Mahal很近)，Caesars, Ballys, Harrahs，也都
有bus。其中以Caesars, Ballys(还有上面的Trump Plaza)的地点最好，在boardwalk中
段，互相近挨着；
3)Hilton，这个和Hilton连锁酒店没有一点关系，位置也不错；
4)Tropicana，地点不错，但生意有点背；
5)Resort，poker room很小；
6)Borgata，AC最大的赌场，设施非常新，好，美女如云，档次较高，可以说是AC的
Ballagio吧。这里的扑克场有80几张桌子，高手很多，赌注也齐全。唯一能大概算一个
档次的只有Taj Mahal。

2 tough guys at a table, but they can be easily spotted.
high hands play more high games, lol, they don't want to waste a day to make
couple hundreds. |

with $1-2.
$1-2 normally people play pretty tight. For $2-5, they played very loose and
much more fights going on. $500 up/down in one hour is quite normal. |

1) there's a macdonald's two blocks away (to the sheraton direction);
2) the chinese restaurant takes comp dollars too, for 1 day's play (1/2NL),
you should get about almost a meal free. play on weekends or those 3x, 10x
comp days (check their website or postcards) to earn comps faster;
3) or if you play a lot and become diamond member, there's a diamond club
upstairs, free american buffet all day (for you and another guest), it's |

weird, 2/4NL is very tough game, if you're not well bankrolled, too easy to
go broke in a single hand or be bluffed too easily.
a yale girl, vanessa, who started to play big in her senior year, both live
and online. she built her live roll to 100K at foxwoods in 5/5 no cap game,
and online roll to another 100K in 2/4NL or less games, until she got all
this money, she started to play 3/6, 5/10 and higher.
so we need a big roll to survive. too many guys go busted early, sigh. |

smart players will notice what's going on between you two, and may suddenly
come out to change the whole picture.
against maniacs, i tend to direct the action to the whole table, make him
play against everyone (i.e., fold my not-so-strong hands). and then hit
him hard with big hands.

次都会撞到人家的 set. 我打了快两年牌都没有碰到过这么多 set.
最近一次去赌场, 创下我个人输钱最快记录. 5 分钟两个 buy-in, $500.
刚坐下, $250 starting chips. 等 blinds 时, 看一桌小年轻超 loose, 9Jo call 人
家 all-ins, 心里有点数, 这时一 loose table. 第二把牌, Q10 of spade, 那小年轻
raise $30, 我右边一个白胖 call, 一般在 1/2 NL table, 我是绝对不会 call $30
raise with Q10 suited, 但在这种情况下, 我认为小年轻肯定不是 quality raise,
说不定我的 Q10 suited 还是 best hand!

I played at 5/10 no limit holdem game, this is the time when playing
weak tight can still win you money. so everyone at the table is nitting
it very hard. In comes this young guy, bringing in his GF, she is
holy crap HOTT and has nice tan and bouncing boobs etc. This guy sits
across the table, plays crazy loose, 3betting every pot he plays and

发帖数: 62 | 50 以我的经验看，每次50BB buyin的话，在一个6-8小时的session里面需要动用4个及以
上buyin的次数超过25%。大概在30%到40%左右。我至少有100次连续记录的live
sessions，我的风格算是相对TAG，你如果比我loose，那么动用4个以及以上buyin的概
率可能要更高。
我现在去live，没有10个buyin一般是不会动身的，最低最低的底线也要8个buyin。如
果只有4个buyin，的确在70%左右的时间是可以挺过去的，但是输了3个buyin的时候我
一定会畏首畏尾，或者胡乱ontilt。我给自己下了死命令，决不允许去赌场的ATM，所
以10个buyin还是有必要的。我目前只有1次，在4个小时内输了10个buyin中的9个，于
是提前离开了赌场。其他时间都是按照既定时间离开赌场，没有因为输光钱而离开的。
更讽刺的是，唯一输了9 buyin的那次，是我认为对手相对较弱的桌子，我本来打算要
大赚一笔。没办法，正态分布和standard deviation就这样，我赶上了1%的可能而已。
对于长时间打牌的同志，其实不需要你技术多高，最重要的是计划和纪律。 |
