样。估计产品还早。估计最后会做出来也是真的。说实话整个车50000块这一块才1000
。这才几个钱啊，犯得着费这么大劲。还是想手握点儿核心区别性的技术。最后能不能
搞得过女大的产品不好说。不过我觉得这对女大确实是个警钟。第一margin不能太高了
。这么大市场把ecosystem牢牢占据才是正道，把人逼走了不是好事情。像牙膏长那样
惹人恨最后不是很好。第二要加强定制化program，身段以后更灵活，往后走定制化需
求肯定也是越来越大的。

不用代工,直接transfer technology 就行。可以花2B，TSMC反正也有活干。intel花钱
消灾。当初global foundry就是怎么干的，搞不出14nm，直接跟samsung买。
Intel那拨傻帽manager都是玩finance的，应该想得到。

other chipmakers (2017). lived in a false reality.

MNC: Infineon, Marvell, MediaTek, Lantiq, SiliconLabs, Broadcom, STMicro,
Qualcom, Xilinx, Avago, Agilent, Global foundry...
A few institute doing mainly biometrics and MEMs. A few small companies not
worth mentioning.
Salary cannot match 100K+ US for engineer unless senior manager or director
level. Outlook is also very dim. I suggest you stay in US or work a few more
years before going back to China. |

Remember, Dr. Morris Chang, who invented the industry of foundry and at
present chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. (TSMC) was an
American all right. But he was oiginally from Mainland China, then under
Republic of China though.

unfortunately, the labor cost is NOT a significant factor for a foundry. The
author should know that.
Because of the bad management skill and yield/performance etc., the future
of SMIC is cloudy.
The only reason it can survive because of the support from government. |

发帖数: 883 | 32 地方挺好的,安全没问题,就是学区比较烂,自己住住没问题的.20万的预算比较合适，
midtown也可以考虑，有个叫peachtree walk的地方很推荐，老美很喜欢, HOA也不贵，
离GT很近，马路对面是美联储，安保相当好。如果考虑townhouse的话，atlantic
station那一排都不错。17-19街的loft现在可能也在那个价位？
宜家旁边那个art foundry听说隔音不太好，不过大概也是在那个价位。
附近的安全性避开GT旁边那个hemphill avenue(校外部分）就好。另外要避开的是
north avenue以南，当然lz在atlantic station看房就没有安全问题了。 |
