发帖数: 621 | 1 we bought a crystal, a fosile, and a rock back.
The crystal is made from Brazil. (Petrified forest is protected, therefore,
the rocks/crystals in gift shop are from other placed where protection isn't
as good as in US)
We bought a rock, or sand stone, which is made of Arizona sand stont.
And a fosile, which I bought in day 7, somewhere else at Meteor crator. The
fosile is from Morocco, and was Orthoceras from 505 - 523 million years ago. |

Note - Petrified forest NP, 里面是几乎遍地都是crystals, 公园里的最大损失是平
均一个月１吨的crystals被游客给拿走。请大家不要做这样的游客。
到此，开了近１２００迈。我的neck,back和hand已经疼的不行（有些旧伤），从此换
老公开。
建议大家从北进 （Painted Desert Visitor Center)，南出 (Rainbow Forest Museum
). 这样你会appreciate petrified forest fosile a lot more. :)
我们自然是在所有的stops都停了，也走了trail. Painted Desert,很美，尤其是有雪
的样子。不过，我们俩都认为John Day的Painted Hills更好看。(FYI, John Day NM
is in Central Oregon).
路上也有几个印第安人的遗址。这的印第安人自然是取天用天了：petrified wood
fosile和clay.

(looks like fern) when i was reflecting on the meaning of
life on a remote beach a few weeks ago, it was too big and heavy
to bring it back, so I just buried it and marked its place.
Does anybody know if it is worth something or not? I will go
back with a cart and bring it back if it is. thax. |

When I went to fix my watch band, the store told me they sell the same watch
for $900 includes tax. :)
But lg really likes a Rolex there, the cheapest model too, still $3000.
He has to eat instant noodles everyday for 3 years to save that money.

发帖数: 621 | 14 第八天－陨石和印第安人 － drive back to Phoenix
这天是起的最早的一天：７点半，哈哈，要开２００迈，４个小时，有５个stops.
1. Meteor crater.就在I－４０边上。不过是个private owned land,所以NP pass不行
。票也相对贵＄１５／人（尤其是对于我们这样已经习惯于no more payment after $
80 pass). 这个好大的陨石坑也有个挺不错的gift shop.我们买了个fosile from
Morocco, Orthoceras from 505 - 523 million years ago。
２. Walnut canyon NM.这是看印第安人遗址。walnut canyon的印第安人住在canyon的
洞里。我就想不通他们，这生活多不方便啊，跑跑跳跳的都要小心。老公说估计是这的
印第安人不够strong/smart,躲在canyon里至少别人功进来不容易。
３. Sunset Crater Volcano NM.这是看volcano。整个NP都在6000ft以上开车.建议一

这次好不容易找了2张红裙子。虽然只有2套，但都是货真价实的大红色哦！
等斑斑打赏。
第一套：Fosil的红裙，颜色灰常的艳丽，属于一见钟情型的。。。
第二套：里面的红裙是UO的，款式一般，颜色和花纹都很喜欢，照片看不清楚，裙子上
有暗红色的心形
