55% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.
Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is
performing and 37% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential
Approval Index rating of +2.

这问题听起来像个笑话。根据维基百科的相关条目，林达老师上世纪90年代
初来到美国，一转眼已经快30年了。又写了那么多畅销书向国内读者介绍美国—
—介绍的怎么样另说，但英文应该还是过关的吧。至少阅读不应该成什么问题，
否则怎么可能了解那么多资料写出那么多书？
以前我也这么以为。前些年方舟子声称林达英文很差，我并不相信，以为那
只是故意寒酸她而已。但最近因为和林达老师有一系列争论，仔细看了她的文章，
发现的一些事情让我不得不疑惑起来。干脆放在这里让读者判断。
几个月前林达老师写了篇论奥巴马医保的文章《大象终于跑出来了》，我读
了之后觉得莫名其妙，写了反驳（后来又写了详细介绍奥巴马医保的长文）。之
后，林达老师发了她的回应《川普背后，那头大象一直真实存在》。我阅读的时
候感觉，不说逻辑不通，语句就有些怪怪的。
比如文中这一句话我就没有读懂：
