Fireplace燃烧木头的话。但是现任房主已经把Chimney堵住，安装了Ventless Natural
Gas Log，这样就没有烟倒灌的问题了，他说这已经解决了Cracked Flue Liner。请教
大家，这种情况下，我是不是还要让房主修Cracked Flue Liner。另外，如果我让这个
问题继续存在，我以后卖房的时候需不需要Disclose这个问题，即使我们已经使用

平时没注意，今天发现那个金属管子烫得厉害，手根本不能碰，
网上洒点水，立马滋滋响。这温度也太高了，如果小孩不懂事，
就有点危险。

发帖数: 469 | 9 inspector is correct. Every chimney flue diameter/height is designed to vent
certain BTUH. When you take off the Furnace exhaust off the chimney, its
flue becomes oversized for the water heater only. The result is the water
heater exhaust will condensate before reaching the top of chimney therefore
the flue will be corroded over time. Re-lining is not easy to do for regular
homeowner.

发帖数: 330 | 12 Water heater前段时间叫plumber来修了一下loose的flue pipe.。就是water heater上
方的白管子。plumber割掉一小段松了的pipe,换上新的。说弄好了，不会有CO漏出来了
。这个loose flue pipe的问题是inspection时发现的。我们刚搬进这个房一个月。
现在的问题是water heater运行时老发出里面有异物撞击的声音，很象烘干机烘干衣服
时衣服在里面抛来抛去的声音。声音不小，我们在楼上都能听到。我pretty sure这个
声音在plumber修管子之前是没有的。打电话给plumber,他让我们把water heater的温
度调低点。我们调了，好像管用了一个晚上，第二天又有声音了。plumber说也许是
sediment的问题。可是这个噪音我很sure是修完管子后才有的。但是声音从tank里出来
，好像跟上面的pipe又没什么关系。
大家帮忙分析一下。需不需要找professional来看一下。
房子还没warm up,修理费倒是掏了不少。pain啊。 |

比如说打疫苗, 家长不懂, 还不是医生说给打什么就打什么.
有些地方政府还强制小孩子打FLUE SHOT. 象宝宝版一个挺有名的宝宝, 身体很好, 可
是就是疫苗反应很大, 对鸡蛋过敏. 上DAYCARE, 说一定要打FLUE SHOT, 不打就不让上
学. 家长只好给打了, 打了以后果然过敏了, 还好不是太严重. 但是他去年打MMR的反
应非常大, 病了一个多月, 现在肠胃还没有彻底恢复.
而医生政府都不承认疫苗有那么大的危害. 还说生病的时候也可以打疫苗. 这也是为什
么我第一条建议就是别打疫苗了.
现在我们能做的就是自己多学习, 尽量保护好孩子和自己.

All of your assumptions are wrong. I know, because I work with those
numbers all the time.
Those poor people have no hesitation in visiting ER, sometimes just for cold
and flue.
Politicians may hesitate at raising taxes, but they do not hesitate at
cutting services. Effect is not that much different. As for increased
premiums, it's not like the insurance companies aren't raising them more
than 10% each year anyway.

1. The fireplace should not take air from the indoors, that is, it should
have an in-take airway from outdoors.
2. Glass doors to keep exhaust from escaping the fireplace and room air from
sucking into the fireplace.
3. The right damper size to control the airflow.
4. Better aerodynamic in flue to prevent sucking in cold air.
The newer one might have more
1. Grate heaters.
2. Reflectors.

只是有些钱不能省。现在是出问题比较多的时候。冬天一直用暖气，有点问题还可以及
知道。前几天很热，都开空调，前天昨天又冷，开暖气。因为空调大多一个冬天都没有
用过，加上和暖气交替使用，比较容易出问题。
很遗憾，是flue pipe的问题。furance里面的sensor 不能起作用。 |
