1. He doesn't seem to have a flush draw since that would be too strong a
move for a non nut flush draw.
2. He may not have a set because he would slow play it (if he has bottom set
, he may just call).
3. It seems he has two-pair and tries to drive away flush draw. But he
called your preflop raise. K9s? maybe.
4. He could just have AK. It's possible..
The first raiser could have anything from AK to flush draw (Kc and Qc/Jc) to
set.
So at flop you can beat AK and one potential f |

I found this very amusing. When KK call 3 bet preflop, he probably is very wary that button has AA. When the stack is deep, he might even fold to flop or turn bet. However, when K comes out, even A is on the board too, they never fold here like ever because they have a set. But the fact is very little changed in terms of the range. You are ahead of two of the fish that called reraise. with 100$ dead money in the pot you are good even if utg+1 has kk or ak. If he has 99, then you are ahead ev wise. Calling accomplish nothing. You won't like flop unless it is kqj or 10 10 10. You are burning money this way.
Since they are all short stacks I think long term, shove and folding yields similar ev (folding is probably slightly ahead) while shoving will have larger var... 阅读全帖 |

couple reasons to fold for you to consider if this happens to you again.
1) 3 way pot, people don't bluff as much in a 3 way pot.
2) your stack is too deep to call this shove with a draw where 10 might not even be your outs.

table and the winner(s) keep dishing hands like top pair crappy kicker with
alarming regularity. The betting happens on all streets and usually ends up
with unusual hands at showdown.
All the players at this table are deep (by deep I meant 300+, with close to
1K for a few).
I was in EP and raise to 10 with pocket 10's (Stack: 450), as usual 5
callers (Pot: 50).
Flop: 10, J, 4 with two spades.

if CO has set of 4s, 无语...
on the flop whether to bet or check raise really depends on the players' tendency. on a table where people like to raise with top pair and draws, you definitely bet. The only problem with check/raising is if they start folding all their top pair weak kickers.

I folded here. This is the first hand I play with him. If the villain has an
overpair or 99 or underpair ("his lower range", it makes sense to be
betting out on the flop. But he didn't. Slow playing a big hand is more
likely. It certainly depends on what type of player he is but I didn't have
any information then. Later on, he seems pretty tight preflop.
