本来是装了pc－cillin2002自带的firewall的，等级设置为最高，似乎没什么作用。
因为攻击一直没停止过，只好转到linux下。
请问，怎么才能查到这些log？
win2k下我已经换了atguard这个firewall了。
并且正在安装SP1/3 for win2k professional.

不敢贸然行事，请知道的高手给指点一下把，非常感谢！另贴原文如下：
如果你的BT很慢，而且你用的又是私家的宽带网(CABLE或DSL)，那你的设置肯定有问题。
通常至少70-80K/S是一定能达到的，而且很稳定。
对於一个很一般的BT文件来说，如果你的DOWNLOAD小於20K一秒或者甚至只有几K一秒，那
么你一定是在FIREWALL后面。你可以选择去掉你的FIREWALL，或者在你的ROUTER上做如下
调整：
设置你的ROUTER告诉开放6881-6889端口(PORT)。端口就好比一个GROUP，大致指的是同类
软件在互联网上共用的那一块资源区域。BT绝大多数用的是6881-6889。比如MSN GAMING
用的是2315-2415，DIALPAD用的是7517，IRC用的是XXXX一样道理。有了PORT这个概念，
通讯将更加快捷迅速。 |

need to turn off the firewall entirely. the point is, if there's some
bugs in the BT, you might be in trouble. it's your own decision, hehe.
to be honest, I never use P2P software, too slow. |

as far as i know, his computer doesn't have firewall,
it could be his institute's local network firewall,
but i only know institutes usually block ftp/telnet.
it's unbelievable if they block sshd.
really appreciate your advice.
i forwarded your suggestions to him,
but seems he's a newbie on Unixand couldn't figure it out.

兼防护软件推荐，抛砖引玉。Btw，偶的IE从来没有被hiijack过，也没有中过毒。
General Protection:
1) 安装firewall。最近几年偶一直用的是BlackICE，而且只设成一般防护级别，过滤
inbound traffic大部分已经识别的攻击类型。这个不是最强的firewall，但是是我
用过最快的，对网速和机器速度的干扰几乎觉察不到。http://blackice.iss.net
2) 杀毒软件，推荐Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Ed. 现在是v8.1。干净利落界面
不花哨的工具。只需要运行一个AntiVirus Client service，并且只在写文件的时候

3) 引入一个hostfile，这个文件一般在system32/drivers/etc/hosts。hosts文件预
定义一些域名的解析，譬如可以把臭名昭著的3721.com指向localhos |

wifi（2.4和5Ghz）有线都可以接入。而且不降低网速。
虽然网上有OpenWRT, DD-WRT, Tomato等固件的路由器接USB modem的帖子，但我试验成
功的只有OpenWRT。所以把OpenWRT用USB modem接zte pocket wifi的方法说一下。
第0步：如果你的路由器不是OpenWRT固件，去网上查一下能不能刷成OpenWRT固件，如
果能，按网上教程刷、如果不能，就另想办法吧。
如果已经是OpenWRT固件就按一下步骤设置：
