on. Win7 will ask you whether to block it or not when you first run the
application. You can go to your firewall setting to allow cbox to
communicate through firewall if it is blocked.

自己尝试把router的firewall关了，就可以访问了。但是不想关掉firewall因为挂着u
盘不想冒风险。
现在问题是，怎么能既开着firewall，又能从外网访问我的router呢？我试过port
forwarding，不知为什么不好用（80端口,http）

Yes. There must be a router between two LANs. You can configure the Access
Control List (ACL) on the router to allow/deny certain type of the traffic.
Depends on your specific firewall, check your firewall manual. (for example,
CheckPoint can do this.) Also, I guess you were referring a NAT/firewall box,
which only has one public IP, and all the web servers have the private IPs, if
this is the case, it's a little complicated. |

网上邻居基本很难看到对方
偶尔看到一次 可以share文件 但是idle一阵子就会drop
无法remote desktop
打开router的设置界面（192.168.2.1） 发现security log里面有laptop电脑从137端
口attack 137端口的记录 很明显这个端口是网络邻居用来检测别的PC的
互相ping不到
怀疑是这个路由器自身带的firewall的问题
彻底关掉 问题似乎解决
现在不放心关掉firewall要不要紧啊 我的两台电脑上除了windows firewall外没有装
别的防火墙 |

can set one ip, say 192.168.0.5 in the DMZ. Your PC should has the same
static IP. Probably you need to reset your router. NOw your PC is exposed to
the internet without firewall. video conferencing should work at least in
your end. I used netmeeting.
You also have to make sure your party is not behind any firewall either. If he
uses diaup under XP, the dialup connection by default is firewalled. But it

发帖数: 46 | 50 I installed OkeOke.net on my desktop, configured the setting as showed on
OkeOke webpage, and changed the firewall setting. When I test the server
with "http://localhost:33579/SmartRemoteService/Ping", it showed "True", so I think that the server is running well.
Then I put on OkeOke smart Remote on my tablet, but it didn't work, error
messages are " Failed to connect server! Connect to /67.215.65.145:33579
timed out" and "No OkeOke.net Smart Remote server is found in your network.
