才知道这位台湾抒情诗人是科班出身的美术系教授，台师大艺术系毕业后到比利时布鲁
塞尔皇家艺术学院进修，以第1名成绩毕业，获奖无数。除了水彩、国画、油画、版画
，还搞激光绘画。书里的这幅本来是彩笔画：“一片浅紫的暗影中，跳脱出两朵绿笔
勾勒的百合花”；可惜黑白印刷。你们觉得怎样？第一次看到席慕容的画和字，发现台
湾知识女性的字体都很艺术呀，齐豫的也是，第一次看到她手写的《Story》专辑的歌
词时很惊艳。都是文雅独特的波希米亚气质。

什么达芬奇，反正你去真正的custom cabinetry（美国本地的cabinetry maker，不是
中国进口，carpenter给你先做的那种）也不是全实木的，因为实木承重或者遇水后容
易变形，多贵的cabinet都不是全实木的。当然你非要要求全实木的话，只要你交钱人
家肯定会给你做，耐用不耐用那是另外一回事，别做的样式经典但是耐用度却不经典。
restoration hardware你要想买全实木的，可以看看他家的百年barnwood餐桌，全实木
，重的要死，不是现在用的新木头做的家居那样没有质感。我家正在装修，contractor
一直告诉我别认为是hardwood就是好东西，如果是pine什么的，耐用度特别差，还容易
变形；mahogney真是好东西；fine furniture用的mahogney什么的现在几乎没有，即使

平面设计design和fine arts是2种东西，这是艺术大类里的基
本概念。有些学校也许还放在一个学院里，叫shool of fine arts and design。有些
完全就分成2个学院2个college.
动漫设计animation，则是第三种东西。
fine arts里，再分方向，比如drawing and painting素描油画、sculpture雕塑、
ceramic陶艺、metal work金属艺术比如首饰制作、printmaking。。。等等。这些fine
arts不同方向出身的手绘要求都不同。
而设计类，完成大一大二的基本素描和色彩后，之后的课程设置会是digital arts,
computer graphics,graphic design, rendering。。。，不修中高级油画和现代油画
。
理工的多，用理工类比----
就象数学（比fine arts)与计算机(比design)，大家同属college of science。

一部分老外不喜欢我们把他们信仰的God和那些完全不相干的事情联系起来，而且对他
直呼其名。
在英语世界，很多老外是不相信的上帝的，而且，许多老外看不惯那些相信上帝的人。
因此，一些不相信上帝的老外会把Oh my God挂在嘴边，从而对上帝和相信他的人一并
讽刺。
我也不相信上帝，但是我想我应该配合那些信上帝的人捍卫其权利，所谓信仰自由。这
就得从少用、慎用Oh my God做起。
不过少用、慎用的尺度很难把握，因为有时很难知悉周围老外谁信上帝，谁不信上帝，
谁半信不信，所以，要避免冒犯别人，对Oh my God最好是能避免。顺便避用Oh my
Jesus和Oh my Christ，因为都和上帝有关。

My other two PCs work fine for wireless for the router, indicating that my

The Suffolk fine is $1000, and it is been there since 2009.

pvc也能做出来，只是看着cheap加上一碰一个坑。
回到你们讨论的fine的问题。contemporary style一般不是用fine形容的，不是贵就是
fine，贵有可能贵在他的设计上，有设计感不一定等于fine。还是回到我最早的回帖，
贵的东西，且流行的贵的东西是不能考虑值不值的问题。现代风格这种板式家具一般都
是追求简洁（其实detail做不出来）不应该算fine。不用实木做一方面不需要，另一方
面在板式家具的固定方式用实木搞，几天就碎了。 |

继christmas在ER待了一天之后，娃又住了三天院，吊水的过程惨不忍睹。
换了两茬人，千辛万苦在ER埋好了iv，当时我就觉得埋得太浅，但是那护士说没关系的
。果然，前天晚上准备再上抗生素的时候，发现iv掉出来了，肿了好大一个包，不知道
什么时候掉出来的，外面纱布包得很牢。
然后重新再上iv，住院部能上的护士全上了，最后连nicu的护士都叫来了，小手小脚所
有的血管都试了，插进去，在里面搅一阵，偶尔摸到血管，然后又滑掉了。就没一个成
功的。我实在忍不住，去跟医生说，能不能不吊了。
娃实在太太太可怜了，现在不光她有心理阴影，我也有了。

发帖数: 1720 | 48 我粗浅的理解哈 － 能在大学下面还能单独叫 School of XXX的，需要里面有一定数目
的专业支撑，也跟深度广度有关。 比如某大学艺术类不是很广，就音乐/绘画类两个系
，一般就把他归在文理学院（L&S)下了。但如果某大学Fine Art强，里面还能分出油画
专业，雕塑专业，很可能就自己独立出个 School of Fine Arts。 再如果某大学各个
艺术类都很广，就会有个 School of Fine Arts and Performing Art, 把那些art都包
进去。
还是那句话，具体问题具体分析。 每个学校开得专业深度/广度不同，什么程度够上
school of 大概是有一个guideline的。
至于某校的School of Fine Arts为什么不包括,VISUAL ART 和 DANCE , THEATER? 我
猜跟那个学校对VISUAL ART 和 DANCE , THEATER专业的毕业要求跟 school of fine

也许她是说，孩子doing fine 在学校已经学得够多了，根本不需要家庭作业
于是问题就成了孩子doing fine的标准是啥
文盲觉得孩子识字就fine了
中印村觉得不爬藤都不fine
每天10－20分钟作业都搞不定，好像不怎么fine |
