申请过程中, 网上很少有相关信息, 所以来把我的案例分享一下. 给其他申请人做参考.
11/6(周五)寄件,USPS Express.
临准备寄材料的时候, 突然发现可以e-filing, 觉得这种方式不错, 至少可以节约
uscis打字输
入信息的时间.于是选择e-fiiling. 缺点是, e-filing的申请人一定要根据未来收到的
通知去当
地USCIS office拍证件照和打指纹.--这个缺点个人觉得造成的影响非常严重.
offer复印件也一同寄出.
周末对方收到邮件
11/10 USCIS寄出receipt
11/11或12 USCIS寄出appointment的通知. 11/13收到receipt, 11/14我收到预约通知,
一收到就傻眼了.预约拍照打指纹的时间是12/8, 也就是说有近一个月的时间, USCIS和
我,什么都
不能做, 只能干等. 我的工作在12/18开始. 开始着急了...开始后悔不该用e-filing..

俺 H1b 2007年10月1日正式生效，目前是第一个三年的最后一年。尝试换工作已一年有

苏重振 job market到猴年马月去实在不是办法，打算今年秋天之前暂时先回国。不知
道是否应该还让公司给file Extention／Renewal？具体问题如下：
１. 不让公司file，干到H1b第一个三年结束自动expire，领到最后一张paycheck走人
。这种情况下，将来这个expire的H1b名额还算俺的吗？假如若干年后俺再来美工作，
还要重新申请当年的名额，还是可以直接用剩下的第二个三年？
２. 不让公司file，不等H1b第一个三年结束提前走人。这种情况下这个H1b名额应该还
算俺的对吧？问题是假如若干年后俺 |

拖拉到今天才开始办理OPT, 8月13号就算正式毕业了。准备10月的第一个星期一开始
OPT，时间还是有点紧的。
今天上午开始填I765表，发现有个e-filing，想着用credit card付钱方便就交了。下
午到ISO核对材料，结果他们说非常不推荐用e-filing，要我重新手填I765，重新写
check再一起过去。吐血！要我交双备的钱！我打电话到USCIS要求cancel在线的申请，
结果他们说不行，cancel不了了。而且一旦case成立，管你办不办，钱也不会退了。
现在我的问题很多：
1，就是在线填的时候，填错了几个地方，包括OPT的code填错了，电话打错了，入境时
间也填错了。打电话给USCIS的人，他们说把suppor |

了，也做了home inspectiom，没发现什么大问题。
然后seller的agent两天前email给我们一份clue report
里面记载了这房子在现有seller住的期间file claim的情况。
2014年8月份，file了一次，$8000多。seller说是dining room的外墙的copper line
break了，然后地板重新做了
2016年的6月份file了一次，$3000多。说是厨房sink漏水
然后一个月后，2016年7月份又file了一次，$15000多，说前面一次没修好，然后把厨
房的cabinet移走；打开dry wall修的。
所以过去三年内总共修了3次，花了$27000多
home inspection没有发现大问题，是不是算修得很好？
我老公说，只要他们出示professionally fix的report，外加做mold test通过，还是
可以买的
现在附近看的房子也没有看到喜欢的，所以真的很纠结。

我的H1B今年四月就到期了（满三年了），单位在办延期/转title的新H1B，但是办的特
别慢，怕到时候不能在H1B过期之前把新申请提交上去，所以想交个485就不用面临要回
国的风险了。
我的EB2 NIW PD是16年2月底，按目前的形势，感觉过几个月就该排到了，但是4月就排
到的概率很低。我也可以最近马上Concurrent file EB1a 140+485，因为可以Relink
16年的PD，这样做的风险就是万一EB1a 140被拒（之前EB1a 140被拒过），485也就被
拒了。
如果Concurrent file EB1a 140+485，pending状态下如果发现EB2排期到了，怕140通

了房子。我试着用TURBO tax填，居然分开JOINT FILE我们要补federal tax，而分开
FILE,会退federal tax。主要是因为买房的tax credit,分开的话，我们每人可拿$4k,
而joint的话，只能拿到partial credit,怎么会这样？
2.我去年是住NJ,工作在NY.我收到两个W-2,一张item 15写的是NJ,另一张item 15 写的
是NY,但是写NY的那张1-14都是空的，只有16和17才有，我用TURBO TAX的话，是这两张
都要输入吗？还是用一张就好？
3.我的ITEM 14写了个很怪的东西：DI PP#148 - 4383,我试着填TURBO TAX,居然说要
AMOUNT，但是这些字里哪有AMOUNTA呀？我是不是当它没有算了？
4.来之前我在CA,那么CA的税是不是只要我当时住在CA时挣的钱？而不是我整年的

1) Many states requires the same filing status as the federal. So depends
on your states, you might not have the option to file separately if you file
your federal return jointly.
2) Filing a state return jointly does not mean your income gets double taxed
. Usually a state will ask you to complete a non-resident/part year
resident work sheet to exclude one spouse's income.
