in the previous couple years but it's hard to tell who contributed more:
Fickel or Heacock.
As for other defensive assistant coaches in OSU... I couldn't care less if
they choose to leave. In fact I'll be glad to see them leave. Plus, I think
only Vrabel was promoted by Fickel, and looked at the LBs coached by him
this year, like a disaster. Interesting it appears Meyer is still keeping
him in the staff.

般都3个月试用期吧 lol 不过Fickell自己blow了机会 我觉得要么他管理能力太差，
要么调教能力值得怀疑 他之前的OSU防守基本年年前5让我不得不认为是Heacock的功劳
现在搞得Meyer要请回Heacock来顾问一下防守足以见得Fickell有多阿斗 |

a few defensive assistant coaches with him to Pitt. We may not see that
stingy, dominant OSU defense for a while.
For Urban Meyer, this poor guy is probably under the highest possible
pressure one can imagine. The expectation is so high on him and Jim Tressel
has raised the bar to a unprecedented level. I wish him luck. |

is no excuse to lose a game when you score 30+ pts
in a heated rivalry game. Vs Miami, Toledo, Neb 2nd

还是不错的，前提是Miller不要受伤，而且IQ上够用，别像TP那
样不开窍，防守今年算是完蛋了，fundamental这种东西都是在
off season练的，哪有都进行了三四场比赛了还在练习…… 这
玩意儿一时半会儿练不好啊，Fickell去年的防守就让我们气个
半死，但是大部分人觉得去年他是临时被推到Head Coach位置上的
很多人还对他很感激和同情，我倒是觉得The Game丑态百出的防
守让我丧失了对Fickell的尊敬和信心，今年最后一块儿遮羞布被
撕下了，赶紧找个凉快的地方歇着去吧，不然明年别说NC了，BIG
冠军都是奢望 |

过山车，对弱队期待看到Domination，但是比赛的过
程往往让人如坐针毡，Offense在给出了开赛季的几场
时灵时不灵的表现之后，最近两场仿佛找到了一些
consistency，虽然Miller还是会经常misread以及扔
出一些没办法接到的球，但是偶尔灵光一现的deep ball
还是扔的比较有准确度，可惜我们唯一的deep threat
Devin Smith是个只会接高难度球，不会接easy catch
的主，让人抓狂，由于rush太有效率，基本passing game
还是处于半瘫痪状态，全国排名在103左右，虽然比去年
多了些码数，但是依旧惨不忍睹，一旦有一场比赛rush
不起来要大量throw的时候估计就危险了
防守是赛季前大家颇为放心的一项，因为去年play了很多
freshman和sophomore，而且D-Line很多return starters
没想到以前的DC一走，Luke Fickell和Mike Varable以及新
来的Everett Withers把我们的D调教的成了大十倒数第一，

其他嘛，我觉得northwestern的教练不错。rutgers那个我不特别看好，再说他盯着psu
呢。估计得去nfl找一个。或者是现在的年轻才俊。我其实很看好俺们那个luke fickel
l, 以后肯定是HC.. 其他学校这样的才俊肯定也很多，但是我就不熟悉了。
考虑到招生，估计你们下个教练如果不是已经established的，而是提拔来的(比如JT
那样I-AA来的，应该是midwest native 最好是ohio的, or from florida). maybe
skip holtz?

这次正好可以看看成色怎么样。
2. QB谁首发。后起之秀Guiton跟Graham这会儿估计正摩拳擦掌，谁能成为明年TP的正
牌儿接班人，就看今年这前5场了。当然，还有包子人。要是JT在，估计首发就是他。
现在上了Luke，会不会更加aggressive?
3. wr这个位置有点捉襟见肘。新生好几个，不知道能不能委以重任。最好春赛都拉
出来遛遛。
4. rb是最不用担心的。唯一不足的是缺个强力run。话说qb差的时候，clay啊beanie啊
就是真金白银。只是可遇而不可求。
5. 线人跟defense俺不太熟，欢迎补充
6. 第6场是对Neb。到时候情况可能很复杂。TP他们回到主力位置的可能性更大一点，

bowl ban是一定的啰？ 我希望不要有bowl ban最好， 减少奖学金最多砍掉几个back
up流失一部分recruits，还是有希望的。osu的名字不是随便一个教练就会放弃的，即
使没有那么多的pay我估计也会有名教头愿意出山。其次，Luke Fickel听上去还ok，至
少防守，进攻倒是需要一个新的教练 |

caught just like JT has. (it didn't make news then because who really
follows ball state)
so if michigan won, you can say osu had to have a cheater on top to win; but
