Exhibits Index 和 Outline of Contributions 作为对本版众多热心ID的回报吧。如
果能顺便挣些包子，485过了定当散尽家财，希望到时粮仓充实了点 ：－）
我的case他引一项很弱，所以我Exhibit Index中有意突出了一些闪光点，在文章（18
－65）、引用（69－79，141－145）和审稿（80－87）方面和网上看到的模板以及律师
提供的都有所不同，有意突出了自己认为比较强的方面：由于是跨学科，杂志分布比较
广，SJR 排名里找到了最适合自己的用上了。希望对和我情况类似的有所帮助。
Exhibits Index是我自己准备的，分享应该没问题。PL、RL 有很多律师的努力在里面
，就不共享了。下一片介绍 Outline of Contributions，是在律师给基础上大幅修改
了的，只列出 Outline。

DIY的同学面临的一个困难就是如何把几百页的Exhibits归类并索引起来。下面介绍一
下我的做法。
首先是准备一个文件“Index To Exhibits”。 可以仿照junegt的模板，分为4块。
Exhibits A: Authorship
Exhibits B: Contribution
Exhibits C: Judge the work of other scientists
Exhibits D: Other documentations
每条里面可以细分，比如A.1, A.2等等表示不同的Authorship的方面。Index To
Exhibits里面包括到这一级。
在具体的Exhibits里面，可以再细分为A.1.1, A.1.2等等表示对一个方面的多个证据。
基本上两级就够了，不推荐过深的索引。
例子：

you have something like:

So when you change something, you only need to update the page numbers

1. PL里面用到exhibit的地方表明 （Exhibit XXX)
2. 在所有的exhibit 材料前面， 弄了一个exhibit list, 按exhibit number来列
3. 每一个exhibit项目后面附上页码，比如： Exhibit 3: pp12---pp18
4. 按顺序排exhibit 材料，然后在每页的右下角表上页码。 你可以去officemax 或者
officedepo..买那种可以标数字的，还有专门的印泥。

是不是把所有的publicaitons都打印归类到一起，然后标签纸标记为Exhibit 4：
publications,这样就好了？ 里面具体的4.1， 4.2 是否需要另外用标签纸标记呢？还
是用页码标记，然后在Exhibit list上面标出页码？

发帖数: 66 | 12 记得见过2个贴子说是把所有的Exhibits 合并到一个pdf,然后给这个pdf的文件页脚处
加上页码.
Index to Exhibit List就可以注明 Exhibit 1: Page 1; Exhibit 2: Page 2-5; etc.
这样可以方便查找.
问题1:请问做到底是否可行?有什么缺点吗?
问题2:我有2封推荐信是推荐人打印出来邮寄给我的.我是不是可以扫描成pdf,然后加到
Exhibit的pdf文件中.推荐信我是不是也可以加上页码,还是必须要保留原始的样子,一
点都不能动.
问题3:如果Exhibits有页码注明了,是不是还可以少帖几个标签,比如Exhibit 1-10,
Exhibit 11-20, etc.

Exhibit之间，我都放了一个divider.也就是说，Divider 1(
标上Exhibit 1)，下属的材料，用小标签标上（1.1; 1.2...）；Divider 2(标上
Exhibit 2)，下属的材料，用小标签标上（2.1; 2.2...）.....这样Exhibit和小标签
就很容易分开。 |

就会很乱, 要是先弄Exhibits的话 PL中 Exhibits的顺序就不是全部顺着的. 大家是

index就好了.

如果把整个eb1 package 比做一本书，那exhibit list 就是这本书的目录
别小看这个目录，有的IO 可能就是只看快速目录不看别的。
我打算把exhibit list 所罗列的顺序跟 rfe PL 中罗列的事实（推荐信，客观证据等
）的顺序一致。
比方说
rfe PL 中讲到contributions罗列contributions A， B， C
在exhibit list 中也按照这样的顺序来，
比方说LIst A1 是xxx的推荐信
List A2－A10 是我的contribution A 被别人应用的例子 （比方说公司的testimony
letters 只类的）
但是问题来了，后面还有要证明sustained acclaim，top percentage recognized by
experts in the field
这些都在exhibit list D 中
但是exhibit list D 要交叉使用list A，B， C 中的一些内容。
大家怎么罗列呢？ 如果在List D 中再罗列一次 （比方说A1 xxx的推荐信），再打印

主要是想让IO 看到list 就跟看到 PL 一样。
看到大多数人都是把同类型的放一块 （这样也是分类啊）
比方说 推荐信放一块 （exhibit 1）， 文章放一块 （exhibit 2），
觉的这样IO 找起来其实停麻烦的。 PL里讲一段内容，一会儿exhibit 1
， 一会儿 exhibit 7的。
还不如把PL里讲的放一块这样好找。 |

PL应该是一份可以不用exhibits就看明白的东西.
里面引用exhibits的地方直接放quotations, 然后括号注上原文可以在哪个exhibit里
找到. 并不期待IO真的去翻.
这样虽然是一会儿exhibit A一会儿C, 但不影响阅读.
这样的话PL逻辑清楚, exhibit index结构清楚.

Exhibit # (Page #/total # of the current exhibit). 比如第一个Exhibit，有6页
，我这样标注好不好：Exhibit 1 (Page 1/6) ?
每个页面这样标注完以后，再insert一个总页面，比如资料一共300页，在每个页面的
底部中间位置插入：Page 1/300, 这样做好不好？
另外一个问题，有的推荐人的CV真是太长了（主要是publications太多，有20-30页）
，这种情况下能不能把他们的cv砍短一些？ |

我想把exhibit分成几类，比如说A,B,C...
然后每一类分1，2，3，4

加在RFE exhibit list里面呢？

一下是前面提交过的；另外，新增加的证据也要说明。
或者，在RFE的Letter里面把以前的Exhibit内容给复述一遍，然后标上这是以前的一个
Exhibit，不再重复提交到response的package里。
新增加的材料不是太多啊，只是要了几封推荐信，找了几个AP做比较。而且更新文章数
，引用数以及审稿数等，虽然说可以用来证明sustained acclaim，但严格讲不一定会
被采信。另外，IO在审initial petition的时候，基本上是草草看过，很多exhibit其
实根本没看。 |

做，有PDF文件就插进去，这样就很轻松地有页码了。最后做exhibits目录。 |

发帖数: 996 | 48 一个exhibit的项目几十页甚至上百页，如果只是在petition letter里写Exhibit XX，
那IO很难找到（或者说基本不可能找到）letter所阐述的部分啊。。。难道要给
exhibit标记页码然后再letter里定位到exhibit里的具体某一页？多谢！ |

发帖数: 1602 | 49 不对齐无所谓，大部分美国人写东西都习惯左对齐，你要自己看着不舒服，两端对齐也
无所谓，这个真的是小事。
exhibit index，这个也是看个人的喜好，一眼看上去感觉清楚就可以了，注意，是
感觉。你真的以为io会去翻看那些exhibits？你太高估io了。。。我自己的exhibits我
整完了都懒得翻，io顶多就看看exhibit index和推荐信吧。

之前在版上吐槽过,我这个破律师办事很慢.这里又遇到一个具体问题,我设想的PL写作
流程和他处理的方式完全向左.
情况如下:
我的推荐信都已经完成了,在我再三催促下,他说PL是最后再弄得,要我先把exhibit
index搞好.OK,我按照他的要求,花时间把材料准备发给他,他默默济济花了一周多时间
看提出修改意见(exhibit修改花了三周多时间).
然后我就奇怪: 难道不是律师自己根据我提供的材料(如google scholar引用,推荐信还
有research summary之类的)把PL写一个初稿么? 然后根据PL的需要,把exhibit做出
index. 现在他让这么细致的要把exhibt搞出来,最后还是需要根据PL来修改exhibit的.
想问下版上的明白人,其他律师处理PL的流程.
