发帖数: 17771 | 1 T1估计转OC3成本挺高，att, sprint都是走ethernet access了，当然采用的技术不一
样，att都是用自己的carrier ethernet，有Ciena的，有Juniper的，也有Cisco的，最
终接入都是Cisco的，这些也都是同时为4G做准备了。Sprint的接入也是Cisco的，中间
因为用的是eomplsogre，所以各种各样的都有，但接入也是ethernet。当然不可能一下
子全部都过度到ethernet access，但是趋势应该就是这个了。T1已经严重阻碍发展了
，这个不管成本多高，也得陆续替换掉了。农村用微波？就是那种号称多少距离内直射
，然后速度达到100m？这东西受气候影响大吗？
verizon的以前是主要用自己的线路，但是很多都是用别人的线路，估计现在也得过度
到要么ethernet要么PON了。
当然大家谈的都是主要趋势，肯定有个别的用什么cable modem啊之类。 |

发帖数: 17771 | 2 wireless backhaul就是指IPRAN这一段吧，从cell site到aggregation router这一段
，你说的edge router指哪个？
如果用PON，那基本上都光纤到基站，当然给cell site还是提供ethernet access，但
是在backhaul这块，就和用carrier ethernet差别很大了。如果用carrier ethernet做
backhaul，那么在carrier ethernet core里，基本上就很灵活了，反正都是label
switching，跟物理层估计关系不大了，不管是ethernet还是pos或者其他，只要能
label switching加上必要的label imp/disp就可以。
你说得对，美国肯定各种都会有，一来大大小小provider太多，也没有一家的
footprint能到美国所有角落，二来人口很分散，一刀切投资太大。

ETHERNET LAN主要是switch: 6500的天下/EX8200/H3C S12500/HW等等,
ETHERNET WAN主要是router: SR7750/MX/ASR9K
问题是这里有个7600, 是可以瞒天过海的, Y宣称自己是router, 其实就是个switch
你本质就是一交换机, 你以为你TMD配几块WAN ETHERNET板卡就是路由器啦?!
个人以为Ethernet WAN和Ethernet LAN(板卡)的区别主要是buffer和QoS能力 |

hardwired ethernet cable >> coax ethernet adapter (moca) >> powerline
ethernet adapter >> wireless router (wirless repeater)
If you have coax outlet in your basement, you may try "Actiontec Ethernet to
Coax Adapter". If not, you may try powerline adapter.
I'm using the Moca solution myself and speed is very fast. I also prefer
wireless access point at each floor.
I don't recommend wireless repeater as it's unreliable & cutting wireless
speed in half.

在这里楼主需要的是Ethernet over powerline，
也就是通过普通电源线进行信号传输。Power over Ethernet
是另外的概念，是用ethernet cable来提供电源。
我家现在就是用的ethernet over power line。
本来用了1年多效果还不错，但是近几天突然出现问题，
感觉受其他开着的电器（比如落地灯）影响很大。
刚入了一个信号增强器，还没到手，不知道效果如何。 |

触发，所有房间报警声声音刺耳让人揪心，幸未真的发生火灾。电路跳闸，
停电若干分钟。
早上检查，发现雷电大约是从电话线窜入，DSL modem损坏、和它相连的wifi
router损坏、通过网线进一步击毁相连的电脑……损失惨重。后经仔细检视，
发现modem主要是ethernet接口损坏，其余部分看起来正常；router是上行
WAN的ethernet接口和4个下行LAN的ethernet接口之中的一个损坏，其余部分
包括wireless和另外3个Ethernet口都还正常工作；被击毁的台式机电脑则破坏
严重，机器不能启动，但是按power按钮可以通电也可以关机（持续按若干秒），
显示器无任何显示，通电后风扇转动正常，主板芯片和CPU正常发热，但是没有
机器自检声，面板power灯和硬盘灯也完全没有任何反应，键盘NumLock按钮按下
后NumLock灯会亮起，再按会熄灭，次现象可以重复若干次直到再按NumLock灯
不再熄灭。用最小系统测试，结果完全一样。大概南桥芯片已烧毁？所有损坏
的设备用目视检查皆未发现烧毁的痕 |

0M ethernet连着网关和其他机器共享。
现在的问题是真正这台电脑的任何internet请求（无论是这台电脑发出还是其他机器发出
），windows XP都会将请求发到那个快的连接上，即那个100Ｍ ethernet 而不发到 11M的
wireless network上。只有我将ethernet 关闭，搞坏，反正只要ethernet 连不通了，上
网就一点没问题， 不然就不行。
我试了设置windows 家庭网络等等，这种优先级还是改不过来，这个有什么办法能改到wi
ndows 先从wireless connection发请求？ 望指教。 |
