据了解, California Service Center ( CSC) 最近发布了一项指引,其以下为有关内容
,以供读者参考:
在I-485 (Application to Adjust Status) 提交至CSC后,即使是其I-485已经被转到其
它的Service Center 或者 local district office,之后的I-765或 I-131申请都应送至
I-485原来递交的Service Center。
如果I-485申请是从其它的Service Center 转到CSC,而申请人同时也收到了CSC发出的
receipt,CSC要求申请人应该在至少180天后才能想CSC查询有关申请的情况。因为CSC需
要时间将有关申请资料输入其系统中
如果H-1B持有人已经用完其6年的H-1B,那么他们只能离开美国一年的时间,才能再重新

的原因而不能同时提出I-485的申请,那么他们是否应该在其F-1身份期间进行移民申请
(尤其是I-140申请)?F-1人士必须显示有回国的意愿;而另一方面对于H-1B人士,他们

进行移民申请时需要注意到有关nonimmigrant and immigrant intent之间的问题。以
