Particularly in this case, things were escalating very rapidly between TM
and GZ. GZ initiated the chase, yes, but his sole intention was to monitor (
and report to police), he never intended to use any kind of force. Things
took a turn when TM confronted him and started to strike ... at that point
GZ's life was under threat, any person with conscious would fight back,
using any means they could.
