in US by filing for a change of status with the INS. You would need to fil
l out INS form I-539 which can be found on the INS web site. You may take c
lasses as a F2, but will not have the benefit of a F1, such as employment, u

要是看I-20什么的，然后就说通过了。看来广州的确比较松。
个人背景：F1学生，独生子女，10月初在东部一所学校完成答辩后，到西部一所学校OP
T做博后。邀请父母过来呆一个月，旅游 + 参加毕业典礼 （给签证官的信上是这么说的
），签证前机票已订。
父母背景：家在湖北小城市，这次跨区到广州签因为广州有亲戚，加上广州预约排队时
间短。父母都已退休，以前从来没来过美国。
个人准备的材料：
给签证官的信（中英文各一份，附有自己签名），phd学校发的邀请父母参加毕业典礼的
邀请信，I-20， EAD卡，护照，最近一次赴美签证，博后老板的offer letter，博后学
校的ID，phd学校的ID，最近三个月的checking account, saving account记录和工资单
，航空公司的机票行程。这些材料大多是扫描发给父母的。
父母准备的材料：
户口本，我的出生证明，父母的结婚证，退休证明，退休工资存折，房产证，父母与我
的合影，父母在国内旅游的合影，签证照片，DS-160表打印页（左下角贴上签证费收据

Trenton, NJ is the last place I want to go again....
今天从南边上来，本来目的地是两个，King of Prussia, PA和Princeton, NJ. 去KP一
切都好，从
KP出来就奔princeton去了。上了276，然后换95north,地图上查出来的是7B，可到了7号
口跟前一看，
没有7B的介绍，怎么办？7号是下去到trenton的。心想大概不会很远。看看NJTP的票，
上面好象也只
有7和7A，那大概就对了，princeton应该下去就到了。
下了95， 如梦中所料，梦中的princeton好象就在眼前，道路不宽，也不繁忙，好象快
要到个不大的
城市的样子。走过去，果然进了一个小town,于是开始努力在街上找princeton,或者unv
ersity的字样。
怪了，没有一个这么的字。在看看，好象有几个老墨，再看，好象怎么路上开车的都是
深色皮肤的，
一个老白都看不到，心里有点慌，可是现在美国什么地方没几个少数民族？也没多想。

本州养个UW 州政府都天天哀没钱了 不知每个纳税人要多缴多少钱才能把UW,
Wshington state Univ ersity 弄成免费 再说免费的通常品质不好 便宜没好货 搞不
好缴一堆钱到头来还是得花钱上私立大学
桑德斯想把美国弄成像北欧那样 可是没考虑到美国人口成员不像北欧单纯 美国有太多
懒人不工作 现在不工作的有餐餐有龙虾牛排吃 有免费健保 有住房补助 早没动力工作
了 不是像他讲的那么简单 把富人的钱全拿了 就能解决贫富差距问题
不过我不讨厌他 比起希拉理至少桑德斯很清廉 是为理想而战 虽然理想不太可行 |

美国ABC电视台全程进行了转播，收视率也是近年来的最高。对阵双方是堪萨斯大学(Univ
ersity of Kansas，以下简称UK)和纽约州的雪城大学(Syracuse University译为雪城大
学，或直译为锡拉克斯大学)。堪萨斯州和纽约州的市民甚至政界要人都很关注这场比赛
。两州州长都给各自学校教练打电话，祝贺进入NCAA决赛，并预祝获得最后冠军。
Jim Boeheim和Roy Williams都不是第一次进入NCAA决赛了，但他们都没有获得过冠军
，谁也不想再次刹羽而归。特别对于Jim Boeheim，16年前在同一个场地，他只差4秒就获
得了冠军，但对手的一个3分球却没能让他笑到最后。不过他也知道，要从UK手中夺取冠
军也是很不容易的事情，综合实力UK毕竟占上风。或许他也做好了失败的准备，他只希望
这一次失败不要像上次那么残酷了。
