Fibers). Since it has various expressity and heteroplasmy, the family
history might not be significant.
Like many mitochondrial diseases, there is no cure for MERRF and treatment
is primarily symptomatic. High doses of Coenzyme Q10 and L-Carnitine have
been tried with little success as therapies in hopes of improving
mitochondrial function. |

CCF has the best epilepsy center in USA and fortunately it is one of the
most opened system to international physicians and trainees.
During the OB, you will be exposed to extensive lectures and rigorous
discussion.
After the OB, I believe you can go to any neurology program if you are above
average.
Let me know if you get in and want to know how to prepare for it. |

章很麻烦，耽误了2个多月，材料才得以从学校寄出。个人觉得申请算是比较顺利。把
我当时准备的情况跟大家说一下也许对将要申请的人有一点帮助。
我个人从这里寄出去的材料包括：
1.国内护士执照的公正，在这里网上找的公证处，在纽约，叫最佳公正，电话
7183212810
2.指纹卡，就在我住的地方的警察局办的，free
3.handbook上的申请表，贴一张照片在右下角（handbook链接：http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf）
这一页有一项是填社会安全号，我当时没有就空着的，没有关系。
4.两张支票，一张办指纹的($51)，一张申请的($75)
5.写了一封信，表示感谢，一张纸，很客气的几句话
从学校寄出的材料：
1.中英文成绩单（学校有，我来之前到学校教务处办好的）
2.学位证书和毕业证书中英文版（来之前自己办好到学校教务处办好的，盖好了章）

我本科药学，在密歇根州某公立大学读pharmacology硕士学位，今年毕业。由于错过了
15fall申请季，所以想15年gap一年，参加春季或16fall申请。这次申请想换个专业方
向，基础是不做bench work， 希望偏clinical。
我对PKPD这个方向比较感兴趣，本科曾经学过线性代数，数理统计（statics），
pharmacodynamics和VB。本科毕业论文是在toxicodynamics实验室完成的。做过一些
drug screening。其他实习经历基本是benchwork（neuropharmacology(Epilepsy，
alzheimer）以及抗肿瘤方向为主), 有一年medicinal chemistry实习经历。但编程及
算法方面的经验比较薄弱。
想请问下各位大神preclinical PK/PD 主要用哪些研究方法？PKPD modeling需要哪些
基础知识？在这一年中我需要为申请做哪些准备呢？

out the possibilty he just started a new onset seizure and had "Sudden
Unexpected Death in Epilepsy".
Autopsy should help if he has died of respiratory failure or a congenital
cardiac disease. |

根据道听途说的和自己面试的经历，
：7. UCLA, 坑早就被填了
楼主的断言有些误导，UCLA一直在面试到最近。隔壁一个IMG最近刚拿到UCLA的offer
UCLA的neurophsyiology有不同的track，Neurophysiology/EEG@Westwood/VA, EEG/EMG
@Cedars-Sinai， EEG/Epilepsy@Westwood. 虽然是在同一顶伞下面，不同的track独立
面试。每一个track招两个fellow/year. 每一个track训练的重点不同。
：8. UWASHINGTON 毫无教学毫无结构，招不到人，SURGEON主持癫痫手术会议
UW虽然没有教学，但是只要自己肯学，病例数量巨大，而且oncall schedule轻松 |
