leetcode上面的题还是比较专注数据结构和传统算法，偏应用的少了些。
最近碰到的面经感觉epi出现率很高，
比如那道log记录每个时间段用户数的（fb），epi的14.22指出了bst的最优做法；
我自己碰到的问题，epi的14.14也有，两个BST的思路（还有quadtree和r-dtree）；
还有14.19就是view from above；
15.1是skyline。都是活生生的面试题，我感觉比起解决BST问题，很多时候带应用背景
的面试题难点更在于想到用BST，这里是打个比方，适用于各个数据结构或者算法。
还有种种，search engine啊，spell correction啊，都有。

EPI is way much better than CC150, which all problems are too easy with low-
quality solutions. Not to mention that one author of EPI is a Chinese. |

还用了c11的feature，很不错。
coding 都很简洁，不是java那种大长篇，实打实的算法。
难度应该是epi > leetcode > career cup 150 |

beginning.
if you just want to fit your laptop, you can go for goyard tote, available
at bergdorf; it is about 1,300 without any zip; or you can go for this

差距。

EPI上的常见题其他地方都已经有了，貌似他也没有什么特别的新意。
很多难题不是面试题，因此花时间搞的话可能效果有限。
我比较喜欢他们的观点就是面试需要over prepare。当然over prepare也不是说只是读
他们的书就over prepare了。但是他是这个方向的。 |

发帖数: 430 | 29 Algorithmic design manual以前学算法的时候看过，介绍算法思想不错，但是代码质
量不高，而且是用古文写的（纯C）
我觉得不适合作为主要参考书。EPI我有，时不时在上面找两道有意思的题做做，我觉
得也是补充合适。
C++没有什么好的数据结构加算法的书，至少我没有找到，我就看CLRS，然后自己实现。
如果用Java的话，Princeton的那本算法第四版还是不错的，代码用Java写的还是不错
的。
用C++的，把上面的代码读懂了自己写出C++代码就行。
你可以再看看大牛们有没有更好的建议。 |

problems and the quality of solutions give you an excellent way to practice
it.
If you want to read a book with more analysis of basic algorithms, The
Algorithm Design Manual may be better however the code quality is not well
and it is written in C with old style. |

先刷lc吧，lc全部bug free，完全懂，10min内随便提笔写，估计没3，4遍根本不行，
若是
自己完全刷第一遍，第一遍好多个月要。
EPI关键很多题非常难，而且很多题背景太长了，不适合面试。有空看看可以。 |

一个按升序排序的整数数组A，里面可以有重复元素，找出任意一个这样的i，使得A[i]
=i, 如果不存在这样的i，返回－1.
没有重复元素的话比较简单，因为A[i]-i>=A[i-1]-(i-1), 这样可以binary search找
到0即可。
有重复元素的话，还能有logn的解法吗？ |
