building共五层，我的房子在五楼），lobby进水了还没修复等等，十二月份房租到现
在还没付。后来我给了几封email update, condo association 也修复了电梯，lobby
的装修还在进行。今天写信要房租，她又说什么nconveniences endured之类的只肯付
一半多点。我还没回信，想先等他明天把一半的房租付了再说。打算写i will give
you an option to terminate the lease early with 30 day notice. If you decide
to stay and rent is not paid in full by noon Tuesday December 18th, a

endurance test has little to do with what you ate the week prior to it. I
thought it checks how quickly your body can process 150g of sugar. It
measures your blood sugar 4 times - empty stomach, after 1 hr, 2hr and 3hrs.
I think after fasting for 12-14 hours your empty stomach blood sugar
should reflect true fasting starting point so whatever you ate 14 hrs before

endurance。
但 high power 不一定有 good endurance，即使游泳锻炼加音乐放松，还是会有限制
。另外 high-demand thinking 太多可能会导致其它的问题，常见的是肠胃或过敏阈值。
每个 individual human 的 trait 不一样。所以适合是真理，快乐学习不苦鼻是王道
。Gifted 还是 High-achiever 就别纠结了。 |

发帖数: 22634 | 17 另外还有对做 AMC 8 的观察，娃从来不连续做半小时，而是大致切成三片，每片大约
10 分钟 (刨去偷懒因子，否则她恨不得每次只做一题)。这个更多是按时间切，而不是
按题目数量切。
但从 track of record 看，她这么做确实不影响 make progress。她这样至少也能把
30 套 AMC8 过一遍，并且看上去能 make improvement。
giftedness 是先天，有些娃可能 AMC8 连学都不用学。但另一方面，先天的
giftedness 也没法改，父母重要的是帮娃 make 后天的 progress。
而在具体这个问题上，对普通娃而言，这个 limit 不一定在 cognition 上面。
endurance，换言之，how much you can handle boring，每个娃可能也是 limited by
his/her endurance giftedness 的。或者说，过犹不及也是要避免的。而何种程度算
过犹不及，每个娃不一样。其实每家的父母两人就很可能不一样。

的概念。
或者说，让两人做数学题，但不是比谁做的难做得快，而是比谁撑得久。(当然，难度
要按照两人量身定制，不是说给同样难度的题。)
endurance giftedness 可能是 traits。就好比你如果让某著名短跑运动员去跑马拉松
，不知道是不是 trainable。。。 |

路历程》日前出版，5月25日在圣地亚哥瓦斯灯街区（Gaslamp）博物馆举办了首次签书
会。
耄耋之年的谭卓仪1927年出生在圣地亚哥，父亲是第一代移民。从生活在不用说英文的
“中国城”里的孩童，到成为圣地亚哥历史上第一位也是至今唯一一位亚裔市议员、副
市长，再到弃政从商，成为成功的地产开发商，谭卓仪见证并经历了早期排华法案给华
裔移民带来的艰辛，但如曾任圣地亚哥市长和加州州长的皮特•威尔逊（Pete
Wilson）所说，也实现了“诚实、自律、勤劳、知识可以战胜歧视，并将机会变成成功
”的美国梦。
谭卓仪老先生属兔，是故他将书名定为“兔子的崎岖之旅——勇气和坚韧的故事（
Rabbit on a Bummpy Road － A Story of Courage and Endurance），中文名为《一
只兔子崎岖的心路历程》。
虽然经历了近一个世纪的历史，他对往事的描述却令人清晰可见。谭卓仪说：“一直有
写自传的心愿。 写书前后花了三年时间，非常享受这个过程。” 谭老先生自30岁开始

市面上卖的多数是CRI80出头的ambientLED，其实他家有稍微好点的产品线叫enduraLED
，enduraLED好像CRI基本能上CRI85，其中有某些型号是标到CRI92的。你可以搜一搜拿
奖的型号philips model# 420244，423244算是他家最好的了。可惜home depot没有，
不然趁上次50off100就买了。不过ambientLED用着还行，再说现在自己又DIY了一些
CRI96的LED就没有再多做research。home depot里面我买到CRI最好的是EcoSmart的
downlight。LED照明的确是新生事物，其它没用过的或者买不到的我就不多啰嗦了。 |

I don't have any race this summer, and don't have too much time riding
outside. So I take this time to focus on climbing. My plan is fairly
flexible, but roughly like this
mon: gym, easy spin (zone 2) 30 min for recovery
tue: gym, 20mx2 or 10mx3 endurance intervals (zone 4-5) + 3x5 squats
wen: easy session at lunch time + hill reps after work (8mx(4~5)) (zone 4-
5)
thu: gym, 60m constant power output (zone 2~3)

accepted.
I do take triathlon seriously. I will get back to training as soon as I get
approval from my doctor. I believe I will never be very fast, yet my aim is
to enjoy the process of training and racing. I also cherish the opportunity
to learn from this process and the endurance I can gain through training. I
will also keep climbing. Both endurance and climbing skill will benefit some
goal I have in mind.

发帖数: 51 | 48 碟刹和夹器的车架是不通用的，所以不能互换的。
Endurance bike的车架几何会骑起来更舒适，适合长距离骑行和比较差的路面（可以搜
一下自行车古典赛，那里基本上用Endurance bike）。racing bike的几何更偏重竞技
性，会让你身子压得更低，获得更好的空气动力性。但我个人观点，如果楼主不是狂热
的骑车爱好者，买哪个车都行，区别远没有想象的大，而且racing bike选择要多不少。
关于fitting的问题，请楼主一定要重视，road bike对fitting的要求还是蛮高的，好
多LBS只为了赚钱，会推荐给你不合适的尺寸。我就看到过一个女性朋友，LBS推荐的
road bike尺寸，stem只有5cm（建议至少8cm，不然不利于操控），handlebar也高于
saddle，虽然fitting没有绝对，但这也明显很别扭。楼主的身高，确实非常难找到合
适的尺寸，建议搜一下650c轮径的公路车，应该也有一些选择。

关键现在也不懂行，怕被小二忽悠买个好车结果以后发现其实应该买另一种，或者是该
买另一个大小（比如现在觉得身体能够稍微直起来一点，手和腰的压力都小一点，那可
能觉得endurance geometry挺好，结果后来真正race起来了又觉得endurance geometry
不够快）到时候把碳车换掉还是很心疼的呀。 |
