填表时，发现还是需要填目前employment information的，还需要老板的证明信。是不
是说没有工作，很难申NIW了吧，那eb1a呢，需要employment information吗？
我原以为NIW与当前工作单位无关的，想法太单纯了。办NIW就是不希望被现在单位束缚
住，将来可以跳槽，现在发现优势几乎没有。 |

affecting your green card. And I don't think you were out of status since
you are on AOS status to legally stay in US.
As far as gaps in your work experience (not gaps in your legal status). I
don't think it matters at all.
1. The "green card" (GC) is based upon a future job offer. The person is not
required to have worked for the GC-sponsoring employer prior to filing or
obtaining the GC.

现在VB排期到了，律师要LD OPT期间 volunteer employment 的信息, 现在想起来，上
次转H4忘了填,这样会不会被认为非法居留H4被拒啊？
大家有听说过这样的例子吗？给点建议好吗?谢谢.

employment letter： you must submit a letter on the letterhead of the
petitioning employer which confirms that the job on which the visa petition
is based is still available to you.The letter must also state the salary
that will be paid.
就是说需要公司出雇佣信，证明还会同岗位雇佣你，并要写清以后要付的薪水。
我单位出不了“以后还会雇佣并且要付达到Prevailing wage的薪水”。有没有人不写

两周前申办枪证和手枪证，按表格要求提供了两个证明人(reference)的信息、和工作
公司信息，办事的警官又问我要了我 supervisor 的名字。结果我没想到 supervisor
竟然收到警察局的调查信，询问我有无酗酒、吸毒、犯罪等问题。Supervisor 找我问
话后把信退给了我，因为不清楚公司在这方面的政策所以不便答复警察。
我很惊讶警察怎么会联系 employer，这可纯属个人兴趣爱好啊。
因为枪支是个敏感话题，我可不愿意 employer 管理层因为枪支立场不同而影响我的工
作。
请问警察局的做法对吗?
我想直接找该写信的警察去谈谈我不希望 employer 被联系、卷入个人兴趣爱好等，是
否可行?
诸位有何建议?

是如果有employment agreement，需要提供给recruiter。
请问这种情况，我一旦提供agreement，是不是就不被新雇主考虑雇用啦？有人之前有
相似情况，如何解决的呀，希望给我点建议。
新雇主是一个难得的机会呀，我现任雇主和新雇主都是accounting firm，但是新雇主

我的present employer是phd老板。他放我毕业了，答辩定在五月底。但是由于以前种
种事情，我已经对他失去了80%的信任。
我会请committee和本实验室的scientist来当我的reference，他们都是德高望重的老
头，几年来对我印象一直都很好。所以老板不会是我的reference。在这样的情况下，
我很犹豫是否可以拒绝公司联系现老板？

that if your application to a great business school does not materialize.
So you are very reluctant to ask for a letter from your current employer
at the same time, you believe the letters from your previous employers can
reflect who you are.
Anyway, I hope you can the idea of what to say, of course, you need more
polished language than above. :-) |
