, 144,40号路附近都有。我孩子上的是kindercare，我们考虑的是顺路，有早、中饭，
环境都是above ground，playgound big and safe。 |

正在JHU的building里的人说句话，
主校区（homewood campus)的北面是roland park，安全，好学区，传统富人区，好多
古旧的百万豪宅隐藏在树荫里。
University parkway上有宾馆可以住宿，就在北校门的对面，附近（五分钟）路程远的
地方有hopkins的免费shuttle（homewood campus到east baltimore），很容易到医学
院。附近有好多高层公寓，不便宜，住了很多中国学生和postdoc，也有很多hopkins的
Facuty住在那附近。西面和西北面是穷白人的区，不富裕的区，便宜些，但治安没问题。
school of Medicine在EAST Baltimore校区，周边的区很差，往南走在bay area相对安
全，但是要看街区。虽然周边很差，但是并没有传说的那么恐怖。三年了，一直把车停
在off-campus的黑人区街道边，也曾经天黑了才去取车回家，但是，我还活着，顽强的
活着。车曾经被砸过一次车窗，被砸过一次镜子，人没有遇到过危险。前提是不要把
iphone这类贵重物品外露，否则容易被黑人小青年抢劫。

发帖数: 746 | 16 Baltimore也算是historical的城市，有些老建筑值得一看。在hopkins campus边上还
有一个免费的小art museum. Inner Harbor 很不错，Harbor边那个有炮台的公园也是
个历史遗址，总之这种地方先做点功课玩起来更有意思。
Elicott City 和 Annapolis 也是俺非常非常喜欢的地方。 |
