尤其是经济这么不景气。。。
还烦劳各位大虾帮忙看看我的401怎么选才好。
目前大概是Vanguard 500 Index fund 占80%，Vanguard int. Treasury 占 20%。
我是准备长期投资，不到万不得已的那一天决不挪用的。

似乎跟这个很类似。目前最大的问题是scalability不好。目前我们系统tps过百就撑不
住了，所以只能做role locking (leader election)，不能做resource locking(mutex
). |

解了下，C-corp是没有问题的。但按规定要有annual meeting 和record minutes，这
个比较麻烦。也不知道象我这种小公司，能不能把这些东西尽量给省略掉？
如果LLC elect as corporation，这样就没有anual meeting什么的。但不知道这样可
不可以，因为LLC的owner是member，而不是shareholder。这样就不知道能不能拿
divident？
请大家指教。 |

也谈upcoming CSSS election (fwd)
昨天在mailing list上看到Li, YE的信，本来没打算说什么，向来我对这样的选举只持
观望态度。但看了今天CSSS的执委会的回复之后，我只想说说我自己的一点想法。
作为一个刚过来一年的新生，或许我也没有权利对学生会的工作发表评论。我刚来的时
候，和大多数从国内过来的新生一样，除了房间什么都没有。是CSSS的学生会送给了我
一床床垫，并帮我搬回家。我后来才知道那时帮我搬床垫的是当时学生会的主席王亚鸥
，而另外几个人都是学生会的副主席，秘书。也就是那时我认识了现在的学生会主席周
豫。在后来的迎新晚会和春节晚会上，他们学生会的几个人都一直是忙里忙外。虽然这
些晚会的规模不算大，但还算成功。而且他们的确尽心尽力了，我觉得这是最重要的一
点。所以当时学生会给我的感觉是相当不错，有干实事的人。
后来通过和师兄师姐的交谈，我才知道CSSS的春节晚会是有历史的，而且曾经有很辉煌
的时刻，所以在多数人的口中，我听到的是“晚会一年不如一年了”，“现在的晚会哪
能和XXXX年的比”之类的评价。我自己并不曾见 |

人黑了。真的是这么回事吗？完全不是，面团没有中选，完全是他压根就不electable。
美国基层选举，一般没那么多财力人力做宣传，不像总统大选，每个候选人的施政纲领
每天全方位轰炸。基层选举，很多候选人的“施政纲领”，除了特别关心的人，其实大
多数人都不知道。这个时候，你的主张本身可能就没那么重要，而你这个人是不是让人
一听就感性地觉得“这人不错”就变得很重要。除了这种直观的认识外，硬伤是万万不
能有的。一旦有硬伤，那别人想到你总是想到硬伤，你就别指望了。
那么面团有希望吗？一点也没。面团宣传的重要对象就是中产华裔，大家都知道硅谷的
中产华裔是什么人，大多是马工，大多混mitbbs。在这种情况下，面团没事就到网上鄙
视一下马工，真不知道这人是真想选举，还是脑子不清醒。对自己的重点宣传对象都懒
得讨好，只有两种情况，一种是真是铁票，你就算天天挖苦他们，他们还是会爬回来跪
舔，一种就是候选人自己搞不清自己的斤两，以为吃定你了，懒得理你，最后发现不是
这么回事。
