有一面之缘。我曾经邀请过她做talk，并一起吃了晚饭，还聊了很久。我也曾想过去她
实验室，不过最后打了退堂鼓。一是听了一些负面的说法，而是她要求很高，我掂量自
己感觉不够格。
她名字特别，实际上是台湾人。在harvard读的PhD，是我做rotation实验室老板以前的

听doctorstudent网站上说cleveland clinic对很IMG friendly~
havard和brown的tuition fee都太高了，暂不考虑。。
初步意向是cleveland clinic（ohio）、芝加哥的西北大学、mayo clinic三个里面选
一个，
做1个月到两个月。

prior to receiving your medical degree). If you have spent more than 12
weeks away from your medical school country, you are ineligible for training

个月一个月过起来很快的，第一年，特别是前半年利用得好不好，直接关系到以后的

太轻松了。从长远来说，对你不利。
住院医和学生的本质区别是上手而不是学书本知识。一定要自己亲手管病人，自己定夺
一切诊疗。
我当时是第三个月转呼吸科。第一天管了17个病人，其中7个新收的。早上9点到，晚上
8点走。Attending见我把17个病人全搞定，激动得跟我说：明年有空去我私人门诊转一
个月。虽然当时每一个病人几乎都没整对，但一个月后出科时，对呼吸的东东还是信心
满满的。

不过这个mm，spreadking说得还是有道理的，不能上头nice你也心情放松了。不自己管
病人下order，是很难真正学进去的，怎么都是一个旁观者，我觉得从你描述的来看，
你还停留在observe的阶段，而没有进入intern的角色。你现在不是OB,不是
medicalstudent了，而是真正的住院医生了。第一天第二天也许可以，但是一个月都这
样肯定不行。你可以主动要求去看新病人，然后从头到尾管这个病人，让护士有问题就

其它的也还马马虎虎，难受的是英语太不够用了。
attending的声音比较低，很多时候都听不太明白，也不好意思让他再说一遍。很多时
候他也不明白我在说什么。病人就更不用说了。听力比他还差。很郁闷。
还有很多词和药不会说。‘学术’交流很有问题。。。。

official clinical school but most student did their clinical rotation in
ochsner in their clinical years. Generally speaking, it's not a good choice
for a 2nd year to apply elective in the States.It would be better for her to
do rotation in the State after she completes part of clinical rotation in
Melbourne. |

请问L5表里面 core courses 要求最少40 周
Total clinical courses 最少72周
那elective courses是要一定达到32周还是和Core courses一起达到72周就行，少于32
周也没关系。

Of these 72 weeks, 40 weeks must be in specific core areas as follows: (our
calculation is based on a 32-hour week)
8 weeks Medicine 256 Hrs.
8 weeks Surgery 256 Hrs.
6 weeks Pediatrics 192 Hrs.
6 weeks OB/GYN 192 Hrs.
4 weeks Psychiatry 128 Hrs.
4 weeks Family Medicine 128 Hrs.
4 weeks Additional Core Electives 128 Hrs.
我们CMG往往在Psychiatry这一项上出问题，问问以前的校友，看他们是怎么办的，这
是比较快捷，而且稳妥的办法，因为一个学校的课程安排应该比较一致的。
仅是我个人的理解，请根据自己的实际情况处理。 |

equivalent MATHS elective。高中三年物理和大学1年物理只算了PHYS 017, 023, 025
.我要申请的学校的要求是MATH350 和PHYS 350,难道我要全部重新学呀？
因为本科不是化学生物相关的，所以已经在上所有的science课，除了微积分和物理，
因为学校的要求是高中一年的物理和微积分就可以了。或者是MATH 350 AND PHYS 350.
其他学校就是直接要求大学一门微积分和物理。
真的是很荒唐，国内的物理和数学不知道比这边严多少。我现在在CC上化学，感觉和我
们初中化学差不多。 |
