河邊水中又發現一具腐屍，但昨天仍然有「大膽一族」的市民不理當局豎立的警告牌，
繼續冒險在該處跳水消暑。
昨天大溫地區仍然受到熱浪衝擊，氣溫升到30度以上，很多人選擇留在家內或是到
冷氣充足的商場內避開酷熱。一些喜愛戶外活動的民眾，則紛紛走到海灘或樹下避熱。
林恩峽谷公園昨天也是遊人不絕，不少人穿過吊橋後，走到橋下的林恩溪(Lynn Cr
eek)，享受一下清涼的河水。
雖然上星期五有一名約20歲的青年在該處跳水身亡，但仍然未能阻嚇一些年輕人冒
險在該處跳水，但女性較少見。
昨日現場所見，最先只是兩名青年由河邊跳下，但不久便吸引更多人仿效，而且似
乎是互相競賽，愈爬愈高。最初只是由幾呎高的河邊跳下，跟著是十多呎高處，然後是
三十多呎的石崖上，最後更有人從50呎高的石壁跳下。
雖然大家跳得興高采烈，但縱身入水的人上岸後總是投訴河水像冰一樣寒冷。另一
名男子更說，身體各部分被冷至好像停頓下來一樣。但上岸曬過太陽後，又按耐不住，
