但是，aps给大家(referees)提供比较general的出自同一模板的supporting letter，
可以给h**[email protected]发信要这个letter，签名的好像是chief editor之类的

Editor letter既不是必需的申请材料，也不是每个申请人都能要到的。要Editor
letter的目的是为了证明你的杰出，而为JACS这样化学类No.1的杂志审稿难道不是更能
说明你的EB1A的qualification吗？ |

I requested for several extra recommendation letters and one of them is from
a journal editor. My package is complete except for the letter from the
editor. Should I wait or submit the package without the letter.
BTW, I got two more letters already, but one of them is a secondary
supporting letter from my boss. |

letter from the editor unless you have some connection or the editor is
extremely nice. The purpose is to support your top percentage and
outstanding nature of applicant. If you have one, good for you. If you don't
have one, don't beat yourself too hard on that and just go with it. My two
cents. |
