质量不好，可以说是很不好，开几年后，很容易掉色以及脱漆，我看见许多开了几年的

refactoring/reference searching is vital. This reason plus the fact
that it is free, makes it hard to be beat.
JB seems to be very hard to configure properly, and it is not free
(the free version is old and slow w/ poor GUI).
The best Java IDE is IntelliJ IDEA, current version is 4.0. If you
have used it, you will see why it is the best. It is better than
Eclipse in every single area, but unfortunately it is very costly

com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK

Eclipse 2.1x also had similar problem, but I forgot the necessary
fix (setting variable?) Anyone can help?

edit and save in Eclipse, it will automatically compile it
for me anyways. So, most of the time my build.xml just do
the jaring.
Dunno if Jikes does any optimizations or not, but I know javac
doesn't do any :( |

Task is not a part of "Javadoc" though you can add your own "task" to
your Javadoc. You can also add xdoclet annotations to your javadoc, but
obviously xdoclet is not a part of "Javadoc" as well.
Also, there is not a standard of "Task". Eclipse has its own Task(s).
Actually it supports 2 types of "Task"s: Java comment "TODO" and
Eclipse project Task.
"TODO" can be put into Javadoc, but not necessary. You can add your "TODO"
annotation in normay comment:

也能应付，所以没用过。问题是很多Code拿到手是ANT编译，我一般把它们做成Eclipse
的Project然后用Debug里面设置运动配置，这样可以Debug，但是非常繁琐，必须读一遍
build。XML看看都要做什么。
请问如果用ANT菜单里面设置运行或者External Tools，怎能能设置断点Debug呢 |

task to run a particular task, right? After using Eclipse/Ant for 3 months, I
realized that I can do that :-) I used to click menu step by step to run a

It helps tremendously in code reading and copying/pasting.
This is another feature that makes Eclipse attractive, along with
compile-on-save + well managed problem list.

I try -vmargs -Xms512M -Xmx768M, and didn't seem to help.
less than 256M memory is occupied in Javaw so Eclipse is not honoring it.

is stored there (I guess class name, method name etc.).
When the project gets big, these meta info just cannot be stored in default
perm space (probably 32M), and you crash no matter what. Profiler probably
wouldn't help here, it took me some time to dig it out from Eclipse Bugzilla
