再在这里发声。现在大家对Ebola的恐慌情绪大于Ebola本身。西非的爆发有很多环境因
素（频繁战乱，基础卫生条件差，公共卫生服务严重滞后等等加速了病毒的传播）。在
美国这样全球公共卫生体系最发达的国家，是不太可能出现Ebola爆发的。做新闻当然

所以被传染的是医护人员和照顾病人的亲属，或埋葬病人的人们，当地要给死者沐浴，
下葬前还要亲吻死者嘴唇。

让人失望的是非洲护士们都要求double gowns, 全身coverage。这个病毒爆发一年多，
到了美国居然这么不小心，达拉斯护士戴个眼护就去碰病人体液！美国就是这样，等到
问题出了大呼小叫，预防措施几乎为零！

针对ebola, 目前办法不多，除了远离密集人群，远离貌似感冒的人，尽量不要乘地铁
、公车和飞机等公共交通工具外，没有特效药，没有疫苗。
我看到有初步研究，大概是体外研究，证明大蒜可以杀死最多种类的病毒。我没有看到
文献，是看到别人引用的。但我想这里有两个问题。1. 研究的病毒里面没有ebola病毒
，只是根据大蒜和其他解毒的东西比，杀死的病毒种类最多，推测大蒜可以杀死ebola
病毒，推测有不确定性。 2. 体外实验可以采用高浓度的大蒜，但如果吃大蒜不可能让
整个人体充满那么高的浓度。
不论怎样吧，在目前没有其他更好办法的时候，希望大家多吃大蒜。大蒜的口臭是个麻
烦，如果没有解决办法，建议周末吃。
这里提到大蒜作为抗生素，发现的比青霉素早，但研究不多，被提倡的也不多，恐怕是

致命而已。
ebola死亡率70%-90%!!而且死亡过程极为痛苦，死状极惨。全身肌肉脱离骨头，
全身冒血而死。
另外，有时候病毒并不是人控制的，而是自己消失的。比如黑死病，spanish
flu，都曾是让人类束手无策的传染病，但是人家到时间自己就消失了。我怀疑
SARS也是自行消失的，跟中国什么控制根本没关系。至今SARS也没有什么
好的治疗方法和vaccine
SARS能控制住，不代表ebola也能控制住。就说一点吧，病人死很久后，ebola
还能通过病人尸体传播，SARS能吗？ |

的药去治疗HIV一样，你觉得靠谱么？最关键的是，Chimerix没有经过Ebola动物实验，
不像Zmapp不仅有猴子试验，还直接用在治愈两个美国患者了，绝对是drug of
choice。老美不打算给这老黑用那两种药，就只是拿他来试验这连动物实验都没做过的

如果花了大价钱研发，那么就要主动释放这个病毒，让它流行起来

Duncun 没有把 ebola 传给他女友，及其他接触的人，说明潜伏期和发病初期传染性不
是很厉害。
如果从出现明显症状后，就能及时控制。同时定点医院严格按规程操作，大面积爆发的
可能性不大。
不过大幅宣传提高公众对Ebola的重视还是很重要。对于医疗科研系统，以后要求增加
funding 也有好处。 |

Thursday after it was discovered they were in contact with the Dallas Ebola
patient.
“Prior to today's notification, RISD had no information from the health
authorities to indicate that there were any RISD connections to the Ebola
