发帖数: 236 | 2 发动机上端的valve cover周围全是油，shop换机油的时候发现的，他们建议先把valve
cover gasket给remove and replace，然后做oil leak diagnosis,主要就是steam
clean and dye，开几百迈以后再inspect。去了另外一家，他们打开hood看了一下，说
只要换valve cover gasket就能解决漏油，根本不用近一步diagnosis，但他们说4个火
花塞以及相应的连线已经被油浸了，需要马上更换。
各位给参谋参谋，我对车不懂，也不是什么好车，不准备花大价钱。目前计划就是换
valve cover gasket，也不diagnosis，因为以我对发动机的了解，也就gasket有可能
漏油，也不准备换4个火花塞以及相应的连线，将近300块呢。

变速箱是靠冷却液散热的，如果换热器的wall漏的话变速箱油和冷却液是会mix的。 |

see it.
Alternatively, there is coolant florescent dye you can buy and see where the
leak is. |

去了两家不同的修车铺检查，得出两个不同的结论（从字面上看），因为我不懂车，不
知道他们是不是一回事）：
修车铺A: 要换timing cover seal
speed 1 - sleeve
PCV valve $202 (including oil change)
修车铺B：要换 oil pan gasket set
oil pressure sending unit $278 (including oil change)
我自己大概在网上查了一下，timing cover 和 oil pan gasket好像不是一个东西，修
车铺B好像跟我说了timing chain cover之类的词（我当时也不熟悉这些词，只是有个
记忆），说也可以换，但不是big deal。如果换，再加$60(including labor and
parts)

是air trapped in the cooling system. need to bleed. One generic way is to
remove the radiator cap and let the car idle until the cooling fan kicks in.
The coolant will gush out and air will escape. Then turn off the engine and
fill the coolant to the top.你不bleed，开几个cycle，air也会慢慢跑出去。
现在的coolant的base其实大多都是ethylene glycol base。加了不同的dye和
proprietary corrosion inhibitor。德车的european coolant就是要避免phosphate，

在意影响因子，不干生物却甚于生物。在流体力学之外，他显然也打起了化学＋纳米＋

can post a video on youtube with you talking is even better.
If your picture can not show the water level, just tell me how many inch to
bottom in each picture or you can add some coolaid to dye the water a little.
