best by Dwan and Galfond. But if he also select opponents strictly, and only
playing with fish on PS, I think he is still grinding NL100 now, and of
course, "keeps his winning".
Reality is, this "bad poker player who can't keep his winning" has already
made over 4m this year. Maybe that's not a lot money to you, but I think
most likely that's more than I can make from my poker life.

杯，都是尽可能找鱼当对手的。所有的比绝对时间、距离的，那是没办法，其他对抗类
的，谁不追求个分组，避开强手？至少省下体能吧。号称挑战最强，是因为大奖赛上面
最强的对手很难避开，所以气势上不能弱了而已。 poker的好处是总有鱼在低级别来给
你送钱。 不过你要追求高hourly rate,还是要往高级别走。哪怕是tom dwan这种亚洲
捕鱼的套路，也要先把自己名声搞出来，还是要先干翻一些高手。 |

conversation.
he mentioned a lot of names quickly, tom (guess dwan?), phil (G?), ... in
some high stake games recently, and if i didn't get it wrong, he also talked
about a lot of his opponents may be big winners in private games, but are
actually fish here in MDL.
last night i could only recognize him, all other 4 were mid-age "average"
guys, who you won't think would play at this nose bleeding level outside
a poker room. |

他就是最厉害了？PH还觉得tom dwan打得很烂呢。再说他自己cash game就玩得一塌糊
涂，high stakes poker上他被打得那么惨。我管这个什么morternsen是真厉害还是假
厉害，反正这个summer我和他玩得几次没看出他哪里玩得好，典型的loose aggressive
的打法，而且喜欢chase。他赢了那么多大型tournament,什么wsopme, wpt,要cash
game 那么厉害应该还是在玩100/200 或至少25/100NL吧？还玩什么5/10啊？那次他
flush draw和别人all in，pot 也就几千块，他还很胆战心惊的问我朋友可不可以run
twice，所以估计他现在也没剩很多钱吧。还好他运气好这次main event又拿了个第10
名，bankroll上又来个大boost. 而且main event他应该早出局，无数次all in都是way
behind然后got lucky and doubled up。 |

stakes poker.
I played this hand about an hour ago.
Fold to button, who is a winning reg steal about 60% at button. He folds to
3bet about 54%, i.e, he calls with a lot of trash and tries to outplay his
opponents with position. He is a very good player in this level. But his
range is just so weak.
I was SB with TcQc. I 3bet for value. BB folded, Button called.

got 300k refund and said that there was only one time while he was playing
at Ultimate Bet that he thought something was likely going on.
Since Galfond only got 100k refund and how high they were actually playing,
he might be lucky to not playing that superuser that many times. I'm not
surprising if he was one victim and not realizing it. I wouldn't think he
need to lie about it. |

象我这种半老头子，技术也不行， 只能猥琐地和老老头子对干， 现在我觉得选桌子和
位置第一重要，50％， 技术30％ 运气20％。 一上桌子，先找dealer要seat change
button, 然后找谁是 “TOM Dwan”, 想方设法猥琐地坐在“TOM”的后面， 最好间隔
1－2个位子。 TOM 同学前面筹码堆积如山，只要找到机会从他身上 double up一次就
hit and run.

钱， 输了别人顶。这样玩， 无破产风险， 是大大正ev, 前途无量。关键要找准冤大
头。。。
据说Dwan 不久前澳门破产后就利用名气这样搞。

tom有2对，jj和88。这个不大，能beat him的很多，有full house, top pair, set of
8,他在flop和turn之后都不bet就是这个原因。tom认为他的牌有可能不够大。
tom的对手是以slow play and set up trap闻名的。
再说river出了一个a。a high也能大过tom了。对手在river之后不能check，因为他是
kk,
bet size 不能太小，小的话对手bluff reraise他就没办法应对了，要大一点，
以此来represent he has at least A high or a set of 8。
tom已经知道了对手有牌，但牌不是最强一等的的boat,是次一等的牌，但他的牌还是比
不过
次一等的牌，所以在fold前说了那些话。 |

controlled的情况下 即使拿着KK，光头哥都有太大可能性call下dur的raise。如果是
顶对以上的牌的话，no brainer了。imo，如果这里真要raise bluff，就要用到比平时
更大的size，并且祈祷对手确实是river blocking bet而不是拿着monster在value bet
，综合下来，还是不合算啊。 |

所以他的对手任何牌都可能bet, 小对子，10x,Jx,flush draw, straight draw. River
bet更可能是blusted draw bluff. 如果bluff，小对子，10x, 除了10A tom都赢， Jx
, 除了JA其他都是chop. flush draw只输给Asxs, straight draw只输给QK. 我还是没
觉得怎么是easy fold的。

tom这么aggressive, 又是preflop raiser, 这么wet的flop居然check,那肯定没有draw
, 否则tom肯定继续bet. 然后turn上tom只是call, 那就更明确了，tom的牌是Jx weak
kicker, 10x， 小对子. 如果是JA, flop tom绝对会cbet. 所以JA不可能，river A是
张安全牌。这个时候如果tom raise bluff, ziggman肯定会call的。

加了% for river cheap show down，与在river 去call一个相当大的donk bet相比来
说，turn的raise，freeze了所有medium strong hand的action，避免了一个marginal

用之前用dwan牌洗液兑水把车上残余的腊洗掉。clay完之后再洗一遍。然后用
microfiber 打上尽可能薄的一层液态腊（比固体腊好用一些，可以在walmart买这个牌
子的 Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0)，然后用干净的mirofiber打亮。多准
备一些mirofiber |

this, you can't be afraid of anybody. knowing too many pros' names (and even
their diff. styles) is at your huuuuuuge disadvantage, they're human beings
not monsters (bunches of big name pros got busted in day 1, like JC Tran,
Dan Harrington, Tom "Durrr" Dwan...). otherwise, just admit you can't play
at this level against deep pockets, hehe.

tourney (no re-buy) may involve more strategies at different blinds levels,
if your or your opponent's tourney life is on the line, lots of interesting
things could happen, hehe, for example, the bubble effect.
that's why many top cash players, like kenny tran (regular game is $1000/
2000NL), only got his first WSOP bracelet recently. tom "durrrr" dwan, who's
a top online cash game pro and wins/loses pots of quarter millions, got
busted on day 1 in the main event |
