Jim Duquette smiled. He joked. He told stories, including one about his
mother. When Fred Wilpon, the Mets' principal owner, called to tell her he was
removing the interim tag from Duquette's role as general manager, she thought
it was a prank.
Duquette, who signed a three-year contract with an option for a fourth, was

multiyear agreement for Jim Duquette as general manager, the club announced
Monday.

Duquette, who took over as interim GM after New York fired Steve Phillips in
June, spent Monday working out final contract details with Mets owner Fred
Wilpon and his son Jeff, the team's chief operating officer, a club source
said, on the condition of anonymity.

15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday's series opener against the San Diego

金鶯21日（台北時間）宣布簽下年僅19歲的中國籍球員許桂源（Xu Guiyuan），這是金
鶯首次簽下中國選手，也是大聯盟首次與中國棒球發展中心簽署球員。
以1萬美金加盟金鶯，許桂源受訪時表示：「作為第一個被簽出去的球員來說，我非常
的興奮，也非常的開心，很高興金鶯能給我這個機會，讓我挑戰更高的棒球水準。」
談到現在的目標，許桂源希望努力登上大聯盟，他另外透露，鈴木一朗是他的偶像，英
文名也特別取為「Itchy」，與一朗的日文發音類似，希望向他看齊、勇往直前。
「打擊是我的強項，我也很喜歡打擊，打擊帶給我很大的樂趣，鈴木一朗是一個很棒的
打者，我希望有天能像他一樣。」許桂源說。
大聯盟自2009年9月陸續在中國無錫、鄭州和南京設立棒球發展中心，提供在地年輕球
員專業培訓，幫助中國厚植棒球實力。
許桂源在2010年被大聯盟亞洲發展部簽下，當時是名左投，因俱有打擊天賦，隨後棄投
從打，守備位置是一壘、外壘，曾在2012年拿下中國青少棒聯盟全壘打大賽冠軍，去年
與前年暑假也曾來台參加青棒訓練營。

《约兰塔》与《蓝胡子的城堡》这两出独幕剧是本季大都会歌剧院的最新力作。
《约兰塔》 是柴可夫斯基最抒情的歌剧，不同于他其它以俄国为背景的创作，脚本来
自丹麦剧作家，很有传说色彩，故事设在15世纪的法国。《蓝胡子的城堡》是法国著名
的传说，巴尔托克的版本著重在蓝胡子的新婚妻子的心理描述，她坚持要打开七道门，
证明丈夫的爱，最后发现自己陷入这个恐怖的世界无法脱身。

management ability on this team.
well, people will say that he did a pretty good job to keep
this team a contender. yeah, but look at how much money he
has thrown in this team.
A recent example of his stupid is giving up a top promsing
young arm for another broken, light-hitting catcher couple
days ago. What a joke. Duchscherer, 6-3, 2.44era, this
season in AA, and was just prompted to AAA. was traded to
the pitching starved Taxes range |

为了这样一个数据这么差的可能你用过一段自己也就要丢弃的catche
r值得Duquette杀鸡取卵涸泽而鱼吗？更何况rangers自己也许更有求
于你。

btw, yanks maybe knows that red sox is searching for a
catcher desprately, they hold Todd Greene long enough until
the deal was final and kicked him out of roster. That is my
guess. and I think it's reasonable.
Compared with that Doug guy, Greene had 6 rbi in just two
starts for yankees this season.

咬定是minaya的决定，其实呢，开除经理这么大的事情大老板不可能不参与的，至少ny
post是这么说的。现在就把minaya推到前面当挡箭牌。当年那个trade that will
live in infamy: kazmir for victor zambrano,其实就是wilpons的主意，结果大家都
看见了，blow right in their faces,wilpons就说的经理jim duquette的主意。
兰豆腐恐怕已经多少lost his team，被开掉其实也无可厚非，但是mets这件事情做的

Youk, Lowell都是鸡肋，奥胖也沦为鸡肋了。错过Teixeira可惜了。 Theo需要有当年
Duquette砸下160m签Manny的勇气。
Theo几年前就相中AG(still in Texas)了，应该不惜重本抢回来。SD这个pitcher's
park和Padres这样差的队都能打成这样，而且还年青，在红袜里前途无量。
VM就算了，典型一鸡肋。 |
