nearly $5 million, and that money remains whether Dumervil is on the team
or not. Theoretically, the team could give Dumervil a new deal and put most
of the money into a signing bonus, which then the Broncos could spread
across the length of the deal for cap purposes.
But another $8 million contract for this year just doesn't seem likely. It
appears that Dumervil has lost a ton of money today.

2013 NFL 新年伊始，市场很热闹，trade 和 FA 都有不少大牌移动，好象是近
几年最热火的。
当然，有些队声音很大，也有些队默默等待。
列了个单子，看看这几个有大动作的球队的“知名”人员变化。
很明显，有些队的纸面实力大增。不过，现在的一切只是看上去很美，真正的评估
要到一年以后。那时不妨回顾一下这个名单，看看是否印证了那句：“纸上得来终
觉浅”。

他最大的失误，而且是失误连连，就是球员的续约问题。
比如Flacco，上赛季之前双方谈得差不多了，6年的合同，平均17M/y，但是Ozzie非要
把其中的1M改成incentive，以passing yard做标准。Flacco不同意，结果崩了。后果
是20.1M/y。20M/y本身没有问题，因为事已至此没有选择，乌鸦不给自有别的球队给。
当然事后诸葛亮可以说如果事先续约Flacco,可能就没有之后的superbowl了
再比如说Ray Rice的合同。之前我提到了Rice的合同碰都不能碰，因为合同做得太差了。
对于每一个GM来说，RB合同的精髓就是压低guaranteed money，增加3年之后的操作空
间。因为大家都知道RB的水平是一年一个样，三年大变样。所以合同的总长度还有总额
，尤其是最后几年的非保障工资都是假的。球队什么时候可以摆脱这个合同是唯一重要
的因素。保障性工资比例越高，裁员造成的dead money就越多。

Talib is arguably a small upgrade over DRC. But we all know his potential
health issues.
