上一章写过了本世纪初洋基红袜响尾蛇交相辉映的那个时代，现在终于开始轮到写我最
熟悉的这批当代牛投们了。。。SI曾评选过一个MLB在00-09年间的all-decade team，
结果深与我心有戚戚焉--五位rotation投手就是我上一章写过的那三位大牛Pedro，
Johnson，Schilling，再加上新生代的两位翘楚Halladay & Santana。的确，如果要写
这个世纪以来最好的投手们，我心里大概有一个六七个人的名单，其中Doc本来就是排
在第一位的，他是我心目中这个时代的顶尖投手的代表，是ace of the aces，而现在
他的去世更坚定了我要用专门的一章来dedicate给他的想法，就像其他爱他的人用
youtube上的tribute videos来纪念他一样，希望能够向这位在我熟悉棒球的年代最稳
定最有统治力最优秀的投手致以一份深深的景仰和敬意(当然，还有无尽的惋惜与伤痛)。

家里的狗是老公以前领来的，现在六七岁了，现在把儿子从国内接来了，可是儿子对狗
毛过敏。不知哪里有收养或者接收宠物的地方或组织。
这只狗岁数大了，领来时缺乏调教，老公工作忙也没怎么照顾，现在眼睛已经瞎了一只
，因此一直找不到肯接受的家庭。无奈之下请教各位大侠，可有知道收养的机构？先谢

不磕瓜子。但打棒球时球员有磕瓜子的传统。所以家长观众也会磕。
这是因为棒球可以说是个mind game。 Batter等半天上场击球，所有的表现就集中在击
球的那几个秒钟。精神压力很大。磕瓜子有助于他们在dugout等的时候保持心情平静。
“棒球很小就很正规地许多人看，轻易就一百多人一起为你喝彩“ – 我们这个不大的
town， T-ball， AA, AAA, Softball, Little League 的队就有二三十个。这不是
soccer能比的。Football也没这种参与度。

发帖数: 341 | 19 那个时候职业棒球选手不能参加国际比赛, 所以美国队通常年纪很轻实力不强, 感觉上
好像日本(也职业化很久了)的国家队都还强的多. 韩国的职棒起于1982, 不知道对于其
8-90年代国家队实力的impact有多大.那时候除了日本外, 台湾和古巴(棒球兴盛但是都
没有职棒)抢冠很常见, 至少我幼时模糊的记忆是这样的.
80年代台湾的棒球队(成棒差不多是李居明 江泰权 庄胜雄那一个generation)横扫南韩
似乎是理所当然的事, 南韩教练有次在dugout输多了气的拿球棒敲球员脑袋还上了新闻
. 可惜自从Chan-Ho Park那个generation之后, 台湾打南韩就常常饮恨. 话说我在LA还
跟Park当过短暂的邻居, 这人球场上面目可憎(至少对台湾人而言), 但是私底下实在是
个豪爽有礼的好人.

the franchise" because he is too popular in fans. But he is too humble and
quiet to be a leader. 不愿讲话, 不愿接触媒体. 比赛场上也极少见到他emotional,
即便打个HR也闷头遛回dugout. 不像jeter动不动就pump fist作NB轰轰状, 哪怕只打了个

发帖数: 925 | 26 拖累的留任算是意料之外，情理之中吧。抛开以前的战绩不谈，就像phoeba所说，估计
是常规赛成绩救了他一命。虽然媒体没有怎么暴料这次留任决定是如何作出的，但是从
拖累个人反应来看，他对今年playoff也是不太甘心，估计还是想再搞一把看看的。老乔
治这么假模假样的搞一下，估计也是给拖累点压力吧。
我个人对拖累的留任，也觉得还算合适吧。毕竟养鸡07年从人员来讲不会有太大变动（
唯一变化大的估计就是先发投手了，这个以后再说），与其这样就换个新头，还不如再
给拖累糟蹋一年看看，也许这几年积攒的playoff人品就爆发了呢。
个人觉得拖累的问题可以归结为"江湖越老，胆子越小"，出招越发的按部就班。不过这
些也都难怪，在养鸡这样的俱乐部，只能凡事小心了。今年赛季中途在牌面不太好看的
情况下战绩不错，有一定运气，但是拖累的贡献还是应该肯定的。不知道是不是屁股确
实有问题，不适合没事就小跑出来跟裁判或者投手谈谈，感觉啥时候都在dugout里挺稳
重。
我认为拖累对这次playoff有点不甘心，是基于下面的猜测。首先本赛季对老虎战绩不错

dugout. Also, the "league average" is just a joke. Other than the Prior-
KWood era and some second halves only of Astros pitching, throughout
the career of Pujols, hasn't NLC consistently been the worst pitching
divisions among the 6 divisions? Yes, Carpenter makes that division
look better, but Pujols never faces him.

sox大比分领先第八个inning了，很多人就走了。我们后来是在home dugout后面看得
papelbon的第九个inning，也算补偿了一下。汗。
不过很郁闷的一次是去年看lester对marlins，第六还是第七个inning雨越来越大之后
就cancel比赛了。。。。看运气阿 |
