custom order车，已经给了些discount，说如果1月2号之前能到，就apply coupon，再
给1000 off，如果之后到就没有1000，还现在order说应该1月2号之前能到的。
价格算上1000 test drive还是挺好的，但是觉得很tricky，请问这种1000 test drive
coupon是custom order时候就能apply上呢 还是真的提车的时候才能apply？ |

开车上班在停车场倒车，没看到后面一辆车撞上了他的左后bumper。另一辆车是租的，
他是外地开过来的。
警察来了给了两个accident report form 让我们自己填然后寄到警察局，然后就要走
了。后来另一车主说不明白，然后警察说让我俩拿registration 和驾照。我回车里，
看我车停的压线了，想调整一下，然后警察过来说我倒车差点撞到他，要给我careless
driving ticket。
大家说说应该咋整？

高速路上超速被警察抓住，据说我在65mile限速下开了87mile，囧，我真的有开那么快
吗？完全没感觉。
一般我也就开个75mile最多了～不过警察说那么高就那么高吧。
然后警察问了我下过往记录，我除了吃过parking的罚单，啥也没。所以，他就给开了
个careless driving。
2个点，85刀。
这需要上法庭plea吗？汗一个～
还是直接交罚款，然后上driving school把点数拿掉得了？

临时文件或者隐藏文件，就是一些txt纯文本文件。最可怕的是
有时候居然会删我某个机器里的文件，比如机器A里如果改一个Excel文件A1，到了
机器B里发现这个文件被删了！幸亏俺的习惯是经常清垃圾箱，所以一旦发现垃圾箱
里有个文件就知道Google drive又在弄鬼了。
相反，dropbox从来没出过问题，就是价格有点贵。俺现在是每月3刀用Google Drive，
再加free dropbox来做最重要的文件，如果改成都用dropbox就得每月10刀了。唉，
穷人命苦啊！ |

二任房主，他们只住了2年；而且邻居也是新的，只住那儿一年，
那是不是只要drive way存在的过去10年时间内，以前的邻居没有宣示主权，我作为新
的房主，就可以占有那块地呢？（可怜见的，我不想占便宜，只是不想将来有麻烦，而
且那个drive way拆了很不方便）有没有相关的条例可以参照？多谢。

目测的偏差范围比较大，我刚才自己量了一下自己的drive way，最陡的地方13度。去
年冬天买snow blower之前，我和LP的车各有一次爬到中间打滑，上不去。雪最多有3、
4cm，不过两辆车都是两轮驱动，而且轮胎都不是雪胎。如果是四轮驱动或者雪胎的应
该不会有问题。
解决办法倒是很简单，买一个好用的snow blower。如果门口traffic不大，把车停在
drive way口，自己进去把雪清一下就没问题了。如果有钱，也可以安heated drive
way。或者大量撒盐 :)
真的是20度的话，就有点够呛了。 |

这样的好处是，可以多停不少车。而且不互相干扰。 比如，你车停最里面，然后，后
面又有车停后面，你前面的车，就开不出来。一定要后面的车挪开，才能开出来。

was issued a summons.好在遇到一个好法官。提示我们所有在场的超速者，只要我们
承认“guilty"，他就只能依法办事了。所以我坚持"not guilty"。同时我还主动修了
VA 网上的Driving Improvement Courses，出示了“Certificate"。最后只被罚款，没
有被扣分。
应该不会影响H1B和绿卡。不要过分担心。 |

从202上87走了十多迈，在一个有Four Peaks标志的地方拐上一条土路4 peaks rd，就
开始上山了。
土路基本比较平坦，属于非常easy的drive trail。上山的时候路两旁基本上是仙人掌
和秃山，有很多人在玩ATV，hiking，还有在camping的。因为开的比较慢，被一辆
prius飞速超过，正想着为什么prius也过来越野的时候，又被一辆minicooper超车。
看来这地方不仅仅是suv的天堂，sedan也可以来。
上到山顶，眺望远处的雪山,俯视Roosevelt Lake，吹着山顶清爽的风，跟老婆喝着啤
酒，感觉人生真是美好，所有烦恼都不在了。
下山的土路更是平坦，就是弯道比较多。可能因为Roosevelt Lake产生了小气候，周围
的植被让你感觉置身于美东的森林，仙人掌不见了，秃山也不见了，处处绿油油的高大
树冠。下山到转188到chandler大概50迈左右。

下楼就是操场和backbay fens就能跑步
Regal Fenway 13电影院和landmark center走路十分钟
Star market/shaws走路10分钟
去Prudential shops， newbury那块繁华区逛街走路也就是二十分钟
很适合年轻人
不过在park drive和jersey 交叉处好像是个住房计划 黑人多 但是有人管
甭说天黑了 我经常半夜一两点回家 附近都很多人泡吧回来什么的 热闹得很 根本不
用担心

我在NJ，一直有defensive driving discount 5%. 接到geico的信说是12月过期了。大
家是10%还是5%？
在NJ，taking driving course可以take 2 points off (每五年一次），但是我现在没
有points
发现course provider 都是把信息直接发给DMV。不知道能不能让他们不要发，因为不
需要。
这个course 会不会影响将来的points reduction ? 比如一年内只要take过不管什么原
因，再take就不能用来points reduction... |
