apartment.
It is a bright and cozy room with two windows, closet and simple furnitures
(Queen size bed,desk and dresser). We have a pretty large living room to
share. There is laundry room in the building. Rental is including utility
and cable internet.
The location is in Elmhurst, Queens in NYC. 5 minute walk to the 7 Train
station (90 St.). There are supermarkets and restaurants around the area,
very convenient.

想找个喜欢装家具的正在读书的gg 来家里给装一些ikea 家具
（因为如果喜欢就不会觉得太辛苦）
我想一整天应该差不多够了吧 最好是周中白天吧 比较有效率
家具到时候会已经送到家里了 可能还要帮着扔个书桌到楼下
不过我们楼里有电梯的
就是底下贴的图片这个系列的 没有玻璃门 都是open 的书架
2个hemnes 的书架一个小电视柜 一个横在上面的柜子
2个malm床
和一个沙发床（这个好像不需要怎么大的装直接撑开就好）
还可能有个malm dresser

有没有读书都无所谓啊 主要是怕工作的gg都是硕士博士挣10万多刀的爷

发帖数: 877 | 39 转了整整一天，4家店。中间只吃了一顿午饭。8个小时，好几千块钱之后，终于回到了家
。累个半死，但是总算是有了个“家”而不只是个空壳了。
先说Budget。我们不是有钱人，Ethan Allen, Thomasville以前看过，随便一个coffee
table就要1000上下，质量看得出的确好，木头好，另外接头很多是“榫子”而不是沾接
或者钉子。但是实在太贵了，这样下来一间屋子要10K左右，非我们能承受。另外很多vic
torian style的烦琐花纹旧式样子，也不是我们的taste，而且我们房子太小容不下气派
的大家具，于是以阿Q的心理做罢。Ikea呢，这几年用的都是它，我的两个dresser的抽屉
底都往下沉而害的我不得不一个个拆下来加固；一个coffee table在搬了一次家后松垮得
腿都要掉了。于是排除，定位在中等些的店。最后买的是Bassett跟Levitz。

发帖数: 244 | 41 周末去了北卡家具城。累惨了。写一下过程，希望有人能受益。
没时间读全文的就看前面三段总结吧。
我们花了两天，只转了一家：furniture south land。 他们星期天都不开门的。走得
大腿都抽筋了，最后空手而归。 第一是我们的房子是空的，所以基本上什么都要买，
东看西看浪费很多时间。所以打算把一个空房子填满的同志们要计划一周时间。
第二是价格真的挺高的。他们没有低档的东西，最差的牌子是BROYHILL。 一套卧室，
床，两个stand， 一个dresser不要上面的镜子最后差不多2300， 但是感觉真的不怎么
样。第二差的牌子同样配置差不多就要3500， 没有再低的了。这还没完，运费有一大
块。这样一个卧室到我们南卡要6，7百运费，到更远的地方就更贵了。再加上税7.8%一
个卧室要加上去1000块。其实原本这也是可以接受的，但是现在经济这么差，真要好好
想想投这么大笔钱是不是明智了。
第三好像没人说过，我们最后才知道，他们连信用卡都不收，只收cash，check。这谁
有这么多现钱。说是可以到AIG申请6个月0%的finance， 现在这情况谁还能从AIG弄出
钱来。

发帖数: 3667 | 43 不打算买很多的家具，所以觉得没有去北卡的必要。最近一直在local的家具店里看
bedroom set。
觉得如果budget可以的话，千万不要去ashley买家具，那里的沙发和家具的质量真的好
差好差，基本上就是低档货的集合。raymore and flanigan的家具的质量也是一般般。
十几套bedroom set里，只有一套抽屉前后都是english dovetail，其余的前面都是用
订书钉固定的。装首饰的那个抽屉底部一律是硬纸板。
在raymore and flanigan，买一个king床，一个dresser，一个chest，再加两个night
stand，打20%折之后是2500块左右。本来想这个周末买一套的，但是昨晚看了
pennsylvania housing和fine furniture后，真的被质量好的家具折服了。这两个牌子
的抽屉，前后用的全是english dovetail，抽屉低板都上了清漆，用的都是实木，不是
三和板。veneer做得好光滑。pennsylvania housing的一个chest，上下三层和后板竟
然全是用的苹果木！
问一下买了fine |

，沙发，总共花了2K, 床垫1K.
基本就这些了，再买点其它东西，预算1K。
4000块钱家具，就这样了。 |

都变形，抽屉关都关不上，自己修了一下还凑合用。
现在买了房子，全部换成了家具城的好家具，一分钱一分货啊。 |
