there. Downstairs is a single old guy. He constantly used his cane to hit
the ceiling if he thinks there is a "NOISE". Actually my parents are very
quiet and walk slowly. I think his tolerance level is very low. He even lied
to the property manager that my parents babysit!
Any advice what we can do? |

If LZ refuses to pay up, HOA can forclose the condo. I don't know how to
stop
the foreclosure but no one wants that cloud hanging over their heads.
In any case, if I were LZ, I would try to make nice with the downstair
neighbor
and hope for a peaceful resolution or some sort.
If using legal action, I would sue the downstair neighbor personally for
malicius intent and abuse of power. Don't just fight HOA. Sue those board
members individually. Make them take |

Put your smoke detector on your floor next to the floor cracks. If it gets
triggered, go downstairs and knock on the door, tell them your smoke alarm
detects something from the downstairs.
If your detector sounds again, you have a legitimate reason to call the
police. And the police will find out if they are doing drugs, or just
regular cigarette. |

Your downstair got its own insurance, maybe their insurance will come after
you or maybe not, you can always wait until they sue you and then settle for

there for a while. If the downstair people cannot tolerant the noise, they
should look for other places to live, instead of signing the lease with this
apartment.

I highly suspect the landlord did something on that. I suspect that we also
paid the bill for the landlord who live downstairs. But I called the
national grid, I was told there was two separate meter for both downstairs
and upstairs.
Is it possible that the landlord did something and then used our gas for the
hot water?
Anyone had any bad experience on that?

upstairs. The quality of builder's free carpet is very low, especially
Pardee's. Once you fill your house upstairs with furniture, it is very hard
to replace carpet. On the other hand, it is very easy to replace downstairs
flooring - you just move everything to the garage. So usually I suggest
upgrade upstairs flooring to the highest you can afford. Downstairs can wait

回答H妹妹的问题。 我觉得自己离跑全马还有很大的距离，我甚至不太确定要不要跑全
马。我的步频只有170左右，下一步想看看能不能把步频提高到180左右。还有我跑10迈
