之前发帖分享的几个妈妈。我前两天收到了用保险买来的pump，也把过程流水账一样写
一下，万一有妈妈需要，多个经验多个参考。
我的保险是empire bcbs，我在自己的account里发email去问的，告知100%Cover,电动
手动都行，但不包括医院档次的，而且没有特别写出有什么要求，除了要求要在
qualified supplier那里买。于是回复邮件，问哪里能查到Qualified Supplier，他们
给了我几个选择，我分别到那些供应商的网站上去查。最后我还是打了电话保险公司去
问，他们推荐的是better living now。
我在better living now的网站上没有找个medela的pump, 过了几周，我直接打电话问
他们能不能买pump，接电话的人很客气，告诉我有medela的pump，但只能提供in style
，不能给free style, 保险只管200块，不cover pump的包，cooler，多余的两个奶瓶

2. Paper总共19：中文4，英文15；中文journal 4，英文journal 2，剩下都是会议。
3. citation总共28：中文文章13，英文文章15（10个他引，分布4个国家）
4. review总共27次，9个journal和会议：其中大部分来自于业界最好的两个journal之
一，和业界最好的两个会议之一（各有将近8次）
5. patent一个submit了，file 了docket，业界著名公司合作的，提交申请的，还没有
应用。

因为我被要求去面试，所以今天看了IO对case怎么处理，对TSC的闪电绿了解更多一些。
之前就看见版上有人报过TSC的infopass，说case已经到local office了，最后在local
office批的，我应该也是这种情形。按照流程，一般都是TSC/NSC转NBC，NBC
schedule面试，再把材料转到local office。
所以我的猜想是，由于去年TSC人手不够485都拖了很久，今年开始在Workload
Distribution那一步，有些case被分到了TSC自己的IO手上，剩下的都分给了local
office处理。当然，local一般只做family-based的case，有些不熟悉的IO就根据
family-based的处理流程要面试了。

收到BALCA发来的notice of docketing and briefing schedule,才惊觉已经appeal了
。我发了一串问题给HR和律师（包括什么时候据的，之前reconsideration过没有，有
没有考虑file个新的PERM之类的），HR说哎呀我也不知道啊，我也是昨天才收到的通知
。律师终于回了封牛逼哄哄的信说：给你个breakdown吧，去年9月份就拒了，之后我们
十月file Motion for Reconsideration然后都拒了，后来今年三月份又appeal了，现
在是要交材料。最后说新的PERM已经开始准备了，现在在prevailing wage阶段。
各位不要怪我不关心申请过程，我平时发信他们都不理的，打电话律师从来不接。HR一
般回信都是：这有什么好问的，有了进展我自然会告诉你，直到两周前还是这样说。所
有的材料都不给看，唯一一次让我签字是audit的时候，给我的材料里面让我发现了两

以前的压力也就是billable hours的压力，朋友打个电话，你都得想着一会儿这时间你
得补回来。
最近的压力，1. 是有个同事差点miss 掉4个deadline，都是当天转给客户，一个是non
extendable的due 前4天转给客户，我一直觉得这个同事说非常认真，非常努力的人，
不知道为什么出了这么大差错，她的解释说系统没docket上，或者换秘书，但是这些不
过都是借口，file都在office里面，自己就没有个数吗？结果被fire了。
2.还有个同事，刚来就被fire了，背景相当好，而且之前一直recruit他，结果来了不
久就被fire了。我一直觉得他是个潜力股，来了应该会重用的。
3. 客户方的压力，这个就太long long story了。我是客户的垃圾桶，出气筒，还得干

remained inaccessible, and now the owners are reportedly under criminal

condition to maintain the court jurisdiction on your case. Since your
spouse filed and the court has started the divorce proceeding, the 6-month

By co-incidence, a fellow patent agent in my firm is a Harvard PhD in
Molecular/Cellular Biology. Her docket is substantially the same as other
senior attorneys. Therefore, I am estimating she is making around 150k at a
modest billing rate.
I have seen two surveys, one indicates starting salary for PA is 60-90k, the
other says 80-120k. The only PAs and TS's that I personally know seem to be

However, in my previous state, I read the docket file (court's online files)
of a domestic violence case of a professor in my old school, in which, it
says that the prof.'s wife left the country (back to Korea) and cannot be
contacted, subsequently, the DA dropped the charges.
I don't know whether the same tactic would work in VA so you better talk to
a good lawyer. |
