他具体讲了一下关于这个绿卡的情况。我问是不是EB1b,他说他不了解具体名称。但是
他组之前的韩国和印度Post-Doc都是几个月就办下来了。基本过程是由我找律师，他出
钱。学校出面的事，他说学校说只要是他自己出钱就没问题。
请问这个情况听起来似乎是EB1b吗？我的Publication也就十几篇，还没有审过稿呢。
什么贡献也没有，EB1b能行吗？中国人和韩国人、印度人是不是有很大不同？
他给了10天考虑，现在又有另一个On-site Invitation，但是决定肯定在deadline之后
，所以在犹豫要不要去。这个Offer对我来说就是这点比较诱人，因为完了之后找工作
就好很多了。请大侠们指点啊。

如果不是这样的话，我在博士期间的工作experience能不能算呢？如果算的话，是不是
4年的话，只能算是2年（因为学生是half time)？

but in many cases, officers do not care if it's half time or full time, they
may not need formal documents to prove 3 years exp.

就是有一点不明白。也就是说即使老板愿意sponsor的话，你提到的Eb1b这个雇主签字
，也必须有学校同意是吗？学校必须有规定可以给Post Doc办Eb1b才行？我主要是怕被
忽悠了,还有就是怕去了之后各种limitation，不能办就悲剧了。另外，如果有老婆，
为了避免她排太久，是不是办的时候两个要一起递交？还是可以等我拿到了，再给她办？
对于这个Offer，最主要的担忧是会和老婆分居两地两年。当然我们也清楚同时毕业，
立即找到一起很难，但如果要分开的话，必须要值得。
下一个Interview的组要牛很多。但是还有好几个Candidate呢，和老婆还是得分开，而
且也不太可能办卡。按我现在老板的原话是“A good bird in hand is better than a
better bird on the tree with 20% chance to catch it”.但说实话，真的很纠结。

当然我觉得他本身还是比较支持的，一些不太麻烦的忙他也许还是肯帮的。他是希望我
两年后出来就有卡找工作方便，以此作为我担忧出路的解决方法，只是不了解国籍不同
差距有这么大。那么我可不可以有些迂回的方法来办这个Eb1b呢？

我联系过suannai版主，她好像没理解这个帖子的重要性。我觉得我们需要以下的两个
变化：
1、置顶的帖子标题模糊，大家只看标题都不知道里面有这个google doc（楼主好像就
没看到?）
2、制定的帖子里面因为地址有一个换行，导致有些用户用的浏览器不合适的话，直接
copy-and-paste会打不开，因为那个换行被变成空格了。 |
