七个哈佛医学生毕业后十几年的轨道截然不同, 一半以上HMS的医生混的很惨(in fact, it's 5 out of the 7)，基本都离婚(two medical students couple divorced and both remarried, the JHK eye doctor divorced, Tom divorced three times)，有的还被解雇(Tom)，或者干别的什么了(the black lady)。只有one duke professor混的好。
医生的这个职业risks太太太大了，吃医生这碗饭真不容易啊！而且没有tenure...

发帖数: 577 | 2 昨晚偶在教授的提示下也看了，发现以前其实看过一两段。总而言之，偶感觉拍的很好
，片子用叙事体来描绘生活，以人为本，里面的人物看过了忘不掉，比后来拍的Boston
Med好的不止一星半点。Boston Med基本用一个又一个病例来填充时间，忽略了医生做
为一个人的存在，里面的医生换谁都一样，没有几个能留下深刻印象的。
说他们混的很惨，偶倒是不很赞成教授，不是每个人都要是几个大医院的xx director
才算成功，哈佛现在每年160人，哪有那么多director的空缺让这么多人填，再说JH/
Penn/Stanford等等每年毕业的几百号人也不是省油的灯。
相反，这群人的道路倒是很符合现在美国医学院比较提倡的多元化(diversity)，没有
哪个一上学就嚷嚷要学赚钱的ROAD（也许有，后来被剪接掉了，反正就当没有吧），毕
业后也没有一窝蜂地全都跑到哈佛的附院里做住院，住院做完了基本是就地生根该干哈
就干哈，没想着再去做个fellowship什么的。
至于离婚，连哈佛医学院毕业的老公都不要，看来这些老婆也是实实在在以爱为本，没
有嫁给美元和虚名。这样的老婆，谁能最后娶到手，也算是幸运吧。... 阅读全帖 |

A federal judge in Boston has ruled unconstitutional the portion of the
Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) that limits federal benefits to straight
couples even in states that recognize gay marriage. This is just the first
