I use digiKam a lot for photo editing. It is good enough for non-
professional photographer.
Both showFoto and digiKam are few kde programs I use under gnome. |

not recall it now.
I do not use monitor profile. I am not professional. My monitor does have
a mode for photo, I use that mode when working on photo editing.
Also color management is available for raw pictures in digiKam.
Kde has some really nice programs like amarok(2.x is not very stable
though), digikam, dolphin kile etc. I mix gnome and kde programs together.
I think this linux all about. Free to choose, free to use. |

it can handle chinese dir/filename really well.
feh is kind of a console tool.
digiKam is similar as picasa as a photo/album management tool.
