In my SSD research I stumbled over a french site that had gotten its hand on
the the failure rate for different hardware according to a French etailer.
Here are SSD failure rates according to brand:
Intel 0,59%
Corsair 2,17%
Crucial 2,25%
Kingston 2,39%
OCZ 2,93%

的硬盘存在说明欺诈行为有好事的律师打这个官司，在2004年IBM达成庭外和解，
除了支付律师外，每个Deskstar硬盘的用户可以获得50张还是100张CD-R作为
补偿，只要在网上填个表输入一个硬盘序列号就行，我当时拿到了两套。
光盘虽然看起来不贵，一套加手续费运费当时也就值10刀左右吧，但是IBM在
美国卖出的Deskstar硬盘上千万，所以它也赔了不少。 |

2012 硬盘返修率调查
Samsung 1.23% (去年1.5%)
Western 1.63% (去年2.0%)
Seagate 1.89% (去年1.8%)
Hitachi 3.95% (去年3.0%)
三星表现最好（不知是不是跟三星占用率更低有关），西数和希捷次之，最差的是日
立。由于日立已经被西数收购，算在一起的话西数就是最差的了。
具体型号中，有6款硬盘的返修率超过5%：
9.70% 3TB Seagate Barracuda XT
8.94% Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 1.5TB
7.53% 2TB Seagate Barracuda XT
7.30% 2TB Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000

具体的型号中，希捷3TB返修率排第一，而西数返修率最高的基本都是绿盘，硬盘涨

- Western 1.48% (against 1.63%)
- Samsung 1.65% (against 1.23%)
- Seagate 1.70% (against 1.89%)
- Hitachi 3.77% (against 3.95%)
