LD上周四跟别人撞车了. LD直行冲黄灯, 对方往左转, 两车相撞时还是黄灯. 没有人员
伤亡, 只是我家的车损伤厉害, 不能动了. 对方的车伤得不重. 现场警察说是对方的错
, 对方也说他的公司要pay我们的公司. LD毫无经验, 让拖车公司把我们的车拖走了,
想着对方负全责.
接下来就不对了. 我们等了两天, 没人联系我们. 接下来对方保险公司说他们不管我们
的存车费. 后来又声称责任并不都是对方的, 他们要好好调查. 现在我们已经把车移到
修车行去修, 450刀的存车费和拖车费我们就认了, 因为第一次发生这样的事没经验.
对方保险公司说拿到了警察报告, 说警察没说是对方的责任. 我今天去警察局把报告拿
到了, 警察的描述对我们很有利:

电视转播有时把好球带细分成九宫格，每场比赛前都要根据对手特点制定比赛计划，可
能很多年轻队员上去专打头天晚上订好的某个区域的某个球种，其他不挥或破坏。
很多时候在特定的球数出什么球是可以预测的，有些count是fast ball count——对付
只有三种以内球路的reliever用这种策略的也不少，但是对Mariano Rivera这种不太起
作用。
说到准备动作统一，上礼拜Kevin Millar在电台里说现在红袜投手Ryan Dempster那个
奇怪的转动手套的准备动作就是他建议的——以前Dempster只在特定球种做这个动作，
后来在Millar建议下干脆每球都做了——反正很难改掉 |

我入住的这家民俗老板丈夫也是个猛人，曾经是挪威空军搜索队的，还自己独自驾机去
过北极点三次，而且独自去猎过北极熊，在他家有照片为证。对于各种机械，无论是雪
地摩托，汽车还是小型飞机，个个会修。我要是个女生，也会嫁给他。
对于冰原公路和Dempster Highway，如果要选择自驾，一定要事先check公路状况，对
于冰原公路主要是看开放，对于Dempster Highway主要是风口那段，如果天气不好或者
前一段时间下过雪，建议不要前往，那边属于峡谷，山口地段，积雪很容易堆积，而不
论任何车辆，除了履带式之外，在积雪上都会打滑，即使是4WD也不例外。而且很容易
产生封堵，这样就不得不等待，浪费时间。
对于自驾的朋友，最好代号卫星电话，虽然由于地磁反应，当地的信号不好，但是由于
本地只有bell得手机有信号，而且其实在公路上也没信号，求救点相距也比较远，这个
还是有一定的帮助。还建议带好保暖衣物，如果有低温睡袋最好也带上，如果有情况发
生，可也作保暖只用。油在每个服务区最好都去加，保证油量在3/4以上，防止意外情
况发生。在车上最好配备一把铲子，当然工兵铲 |

Chc的R.Dempster投满了7局，留下的比分是1:0，
后来丢了分，打到了15局，Chc赢了，为什么不算Dempster一个Win呢？
Yahoo上这场比赛的Box Score有一行是WP - P Dumatrait.
我更不理解了，如果这个WP是指winning pitcher这类的意思的话。
Dumatrait是输了球的Pit的最后一个投手啊。 |

is it niles, not Morton grove at Milwaukee & Dempster?) A lot of Koreans in
the neighborehood, safe and easy parking.
It is easy to find an apartment, might not be for sharing. Both Niles and Morton Grove are occupied mostly by families. |

制度规范。
位于1008 crain steet, 步行6分钟到西北大学intercampus shuttle站（greenleaf
stop)和jewel osco。 步行7分钟到purple line dempster stop. 如果步行道西北大学
tech building 大约25分钟。

乒乓球的中国人。还有很多中国学生住在818 noyes。
我和老公一直住在dempster那边，觉得蛮不错的，就是冬天很冷的时候不是那么方便，
离学校近地理位置上好一些，价钱好像都差不多。
