eiver都不能decode这些格式吧，有没有walkaround？
现在用fb2k放的时候receiver显示multi-ch PCM，听起来比硬接的DTS差太多了。 |

视频，音频分开走就行了。
同是HD decoder，receiver上的一般比BD player上的强不少。解码好的bd player可不
便宜。
原来HD 音频发展慢和格式不统一有关。现在只BD一家，发展迅速。现在netflix上bd片
源就不少，新片更都有。一年以后肯定更多。
就175价位，先买进用起来。其他以后再说。

1.为什么电脑/硬盘做音源，比CD好？
因为人比较懒，早就看CD不舒服了，一直梦想成千上万的曲目，坐沙发上不动就能随便
换着听。前一阵子心血来潮准备动手一试电脑做音源。一开始期望值很低，希望音质和
中低端CD机差不多或稍差就可以。结果经过一个月的实践，我的结论是硬盘APE做音源
，音质绝不比CD差，也许更好（理论上是硬盘比CD转盘更好，但是我听不出来区别）
我现在的玩法是无损压缩的APE、FLAC或WAV由Foobar播放（有时44.1/16直出，有时用
SRC foobar插件软升频到96/24，比较中），接DAC USB口，DAC平衡输出到功放。CD机
的模拟输出接功放，数字输出接DAC的同轴口。
1. CD的模拟输出跟同价位DAC的输出比：不管在解析力还是全频段的平衡响应，DAC都
明显胜出。也就是说我的DAC里的DAC比我的CD里的DAC强得多。不难理解啦，因为CD里
面是转盘+DAC，转盘也是成本的啊，CD机当然比不上同价的外置DAC啦。

I work on upgrade my home theatre to blu-ray. ( yes, I know. i was traveling
in Mar. ) Then I find this Dolby TrueHD, which is claimed as lossless
sound. The problem is that my AVR, DENON 3805 doesn't have HDMI. If i want
to have the TrueHD, i will have to get a blu-ray player decode it and send
through the 7.1 analog output. Just to make it more confusing, i only have 5
speakers connecting with my AVR.
Here are my questions:

my Lexicon receiver.
1. yes, lossless is always better than the lossy DTS/DD ,but whether you can
tell the difference or not depending on your system and your ear.
2. typically blu-ray player can mixed the 7.1 into 5.1 output, at least my
oppo player does it.
but I don't recommend using analog output to receiver because of the extra A
/D convert process unless your receiver is excellent doing A/D convert.

我淘的这个老机器的问题是，有时候不论我是用dts，还是dobly信号输出，
功放设置dts，或者dobly，匹配或者不匹配的情况，都没有声音输出。
google了onyko HDMI issue，还是有一些人也提到这个HDMI的问题。
不知道你在使用的时候有没有类似的问题？
主要我淘这个机器也比较老，希望是个别现象。

speaker拆开后发现没有连接线，walmart有ge的，但不帮我strip，当地一家小店店主
帮我strip了（在小店买的山寨牌子叫luxtronic，8块钱25 feet），我跟店主说我要查
查review，店主崩溃了，说wire都一样，要我get a life，我猜这个跟amazon卖的最火
的rca 16 guage wire应该差不多，不过有老板帮我strip，省了不少事情
顺便在frys买了个99美元的sony receiver（只有rca而且是双声道），论坛上几位大牛
指导我，说这个不好，恰好cl有人出onkyo TX SR605 Receiver,要100，没有remote，
我还价到80，扛回家，连电视费了点周折，还好卖家人很nice，电话上给我解答问题，

iPad, just use a lightning or 30-pin to USB adapter and then connect to the
DAC. decoding is on DAC.

then the receiver can decode it fine, casue optical cannot be used for
dts-hd，and the bd player must have taken care of the conversion.
in this case，at lease lz will get 5.1 or 7.1, much better than stereo |

Decoder 20141129结果大致一样，转出来的ALAC的都是每秒96k个samples，24bit/
sample，但是bitrate只有原始FLAC的2/3左右。然后再把ALAC用libFLAC 1.3.1转回
FLAC（即使是Level0），却再也转不回原来的bitrate了。是不是意味着FLAC到ALAC那
个过程是“有损”的？ |

Of course you can enhance the decoding in B such that some char in A can be
