1. It should be know from websites before purchase that DC4800 performs
better ourdoor and worse indoor than Canon and Nikon. No surprise. Anyway,
with flash, it is OK with me.
2. Heavy is fine with me to avoid shaking. I really like the old Russian
oldies.
3. I have to admit that DC4800 is not goodlooking. It is more like a
traditional one. But now I am used to it and start to like it.
4. Battery is fine with me. I got it yesterday and already took 53 pics.

On Mar. 24, I ordered Kodak DC4800 at Gateway.com
$524.95-$50 coupon
= $474.95. Several days later, someone posted a price at
$373 from
camerasound and then camerasound increased the price to
$473. Fortunately,
I saved the lower price's hard copy. I didn't know AMEX
would PM it or not.
Anyway, I just gave a try. I called CSR of AMEX. A very nice
lady. I told
her this situation (camerasound increased price again) and
ask her if I could

Well I bought it earlier at gateway for 475 and asked
citibank to do the
price protection thing. Started the whole thing at around
4/6 and then they mailed me the forms and by the time it was
sent out it was 4/14. Today 5/3 I got the check for the
difference of $102. After everything.. $273 for dc4800
WOW I love it. :)
Everyone must get one of these or the amex blue card. I
think citibank cards are alot easier to get than the amex
blue t |

cheap things like velbon or vivitar sold at amazon. Tripod
is a lifetime investment. So start at least from
Bogen(Manfrotto in Europe and asia). Or, if you have money,
you can try Gitzo. Go www.bhphotovideo.com or
www.cameraworld.com or www.adorama.com for details |

发帖数: 7290 | 6 In my opinoin, 2.1 Mb is enough.
I got the photo from ofoto which was taken by my 2.1Mb
Epson PC850Z, the quality is amazing. You just can't
tell the deference between it and the film camera photo.
The size is 6X8, I do think it is also good for
larger print.
Besides, 3.3Mb has a larger file size, not good for email.
Even you have a 3.3 Mb camera, you may use it in 2.1Mb mode
most of the time. |

发帖数: 24 | 7 1.Stick to ISO 100. The camera will automaticly switch to ISO 400
in low light situation, which will cause much more grains on the
picture.
2. The effective range of the flash is about 3m. If your target
is farther than 3m, use external flash. There is a PC connector
outlet on the body.
3. Adjust aperture to 2.8.
Just my 2 cents.
