楼主连due day和statment day都没有搞清楚，就来玩cc，真是自己找麻烦。。。。
先出statement，出statement的那天就叫statement day。这样statement 上会显示due
day和balance，只要在due day之前还清balance的钱，注意的是要在due day之前post
这个还钱的transaction，你就安全了。。。。。。 |

话说我们送娃去day care，就送了一天，老公就心疼到不行了，晚上跟老公聊天，突然
发现我很白痴，漏想了一个方案。
我隔壁就是个family care，现在3个小孩，一岁半，两岁，三岁。我和娃还三天两头去
玩，娃也比较熟悉了，每次去都很开心，隔壁的人很好，27岁，跟我也蛮有共同语言的
，之前她还经常跟我打自己的广告，我都没在意。
当初没在意的原因是，想着正规的day care有更多的小朋友一起玩；日常安排也感觉更
专业，比如讲故事啊，户外活动啊，听音乐啊，看物识字（单词）啊等等；节日什么的
还有活动。而family care更多的也就是有人帮我看着娃罢了。
但是后来想想，才一岁的娃，能学点啥呀~有几个小朋友一起混混，抢抢玩具，吃好睡
好，开开心心不就够了么?
于是决定不去day care了，直接送隔壁，哭闹了也好说，邻居说直接给我打电话。还是
觉得自己很白痴，有这么得天独厚的环境条件，我之前竟然直接无视了……
然后去退day care，因为day care的条款是如果要离开，就要提前两周提出，所以虽然

。看到首页上有两个上day care的帖子，所以也来说说我的感觉。
我家这个特别特别的黏人，10个多月的时候我曾经去gym锻炼过一个星期，把他送gym的
care center，一个多小时他基本上断断续续的都在哭，有两次别人没办法用大广播把
我提前叫过去了。所以之前我特别担心他上day care不能适应。
我们去的是个蒙校，不过蒙不蒙对一岁多的小孩没啥区别，就希望他们能对宝宝好。这
个学校是朋友大力推荐的，但我自己去参观觉得蛮简陋，也没有camera，不是太满意，
但想去的人貌似挺多，我们只能上extended day (8:30-2:30)，all day还得排长队。
想着毕竟朋友家的宝宝也在那个班，他们也是要求蛮严格的人，所以就说送吧，不满意
以后再换好了。
这个day care的要求是，第一个星期是适应阶段，只把宝宝留在那里一个小时，第二个
星期再按安排来。放下说再见了家长就离开，在屋子里不超过五分钟。中间不能来看。

第一天还没知道发生啥事情，我走了都不知道，接的时候哭得衣服都湿了。
第二天我走的时候，她到处找，然后剧哭，不肯吃饭，不肯喝水。接的时候也哭，不过
衣服没有湿了。第三天进DAY CARE的门开始抓我衣服，放下了哭，老师说肯吃一点饭了
。接的时候抽噎了，但是一抱起来就停了。
第四天，进DAY CARE的大楼的电梯就开始抱着我了，放下也哭了。老师说哭少了，也玩
了一点，胃口不错。接的时候哭了一点点，但是抱起来不哭了。
第五天，也从DAY CARE的电梯开始抱着我，放下也叫了，老师说没有怎么哭，也跟小朋
友一起玩，一起听讲故事了。胃口很好，把带的饭都吃了。接的时候叫了一下，然后就
开始笑了。
上星期送过去DAY CARE还在小窗户上偷看，每次都听到哭声从DAY CARE里面传到外面，
老师还得捂着耳朵。心里真的是不是滋味。可是这个宝，在家里也哭闹，我都快架不住
了，果断送DAY CARE。
明天重新再开始，希望她不要再哭，好好乖乖的跟小盆友玩。 |

國人通常聖誕節當日已拆了。要是Boxing Day不拆禮物，為何叫Boxing Day呢？確實原

calendar date，就有2次，因为银行的mail 被post office 放错了地方，交晚了，所
以房东叫我第二天补交了新的别的check， 两天后就把我银行寄给她的那张void了还给
了我。
两次类似情况，都是按她的要求，第二天立马就当面付给了她新的check. 一直都说没
事，当面都说的挺好，搬家前也电话说要还全部的deposit，但今天收到check说扣了我
2次late fee， 每次10%的房租。
感觉被她的好言好语骗了，完全没有想到会这样。。。
怎么办呢？我查看了lease，上面只写了day, lease 上的”Day”没有专门说明，是指
calendar还是是business day 呢？ 我可以用我是在business day 没有late 来去
small case court 要回来我的钱吗？

due day + 5？感觉不是很明白啊。难到不应该due day前交？虽然写着due day15天内
无penalty，记得当时签的文件上写的是过due day的话利息涨1/8点
过期五天再交，感觉不是很靠谱啊。有什么trick在里面吗？还是都这样。
另外如果due day之前交，算哪月的？不会due day前15天再要交一次吧？主要是想发了
paycheck就还款可以省点利息。 |

day头一天walk through，closing day当天签所有文件，晚上拿钥匙，正式possess。
今天agent给我一个流程，里面写的是大概在contract上closing day之前三天，去
escrow签文件，她说fund需要时间到escrow帐号，所以签文件要比合同上closing day
提前几天。
我怎么觉得签字的日子就是closing的日子啊？ 那如果我提前三天就签字了，不是等于
让seller在屋子里白住三天？白住到无所谓，但是如果他们在房子里出了事，还不得我
们负责，因为我们都签字了啊。和agent说，她说closing day不是签字那天，因为fund
transfer的需要24-48小时，fund到了才正式close了。
不知道买房子的xdm都是怎样的，能不能说说，网上做了半天research，也没出个所以
然。我怎么觉得agent给了对方一个benefit，又没有和我摆在桌面上？还是我的理解错

听老师说事情是发生在12点左右准备睡午觉的时候。
问题是，day care是在1点20分给我们发的邮件，2点多电话到LG的公司轻描淡写的说了
撞破了，当时没说是眼角，LG有个会就没第一时间过去。
刚去接娃，才发现是眼角弄伤，眼眶还肿。
书包里发现了Bumps and band aids的纸条，发现上面老师的描述和电邮上描述的不同
。还有觉得day care怎么没有nurse报告？也没第一时间通知家长。想问问版面上的家
长们，这种情况正常吗？我们该怎么做？因为老大full time 去这家day care 才2周。
我实在没经验怎么处理类似事情。请大家出处主意。

发帖数: 226 | 41 知道这是个老问题了。本来跟ld商量好送day care，但现在她又动摇了。
我们的男娃10个月了，算非常敏感和谨慎的娃，一直以来睡觉都是个大问题。我和ld都
要上班。送了day care两个星期，最大的问题就是睡觉，每天只能睡15-30分钟，day
care有时的notes也说feel tired。在家里的话，大人需要哄睡，有时跟ld co-sleep，
有时在一间放里面的crib里面哄睡，但每天两觉，能睡2-3小时。在幼儿园吃饭情况还
可以，精神不算太差。
ld和岳母很担心娃的睡眠问题，觉得一直睡不好的话，会对他的身体发育造成影响，还
不如她回国的时候先由她带回国四个月，然后再过来，等娃一岁半左右能走了再送day
care。她们的意见就是娃大一些睡眠会好一些。我觉得不一定，如果打算送day care的
话以后说不定也还是要适应。
看了很多意见，大体都是支持坚持送day care，有人觉得这样political correct。还
是想听听大家的意见。 |

曾经在学校的day care center part time过一个学期，后来转了phd就没有去了。
来随便说说自己的一些感想。
我觉得以后如果我有孩子呢，如果有条件的话，我会早让他们去day care。
先说男生，拿我们班上（我主要在pre-school的一个班帮忙）的孩子来说，有一个男孩
子是从baby组一直上来的,center里的所有老师都认识，也都很喜欢。他4岁，在班上算
中等偏大一点，很聪明，爱玩，也爱和别的小男孩搞些小动作（一般我们要阻止的事情
，比如拿着玩具当飞机挥阿，互相撒沙子之类，男孩子爱搞的），但是他非常懂事，非
常听话，你一说，Aiden, no，他马上就不弄了，知道这是不对，或者老师不喜欢他这
样。相比来说，别的孩子表现的不听话的，说了没反应，或者和老师倔，经常就被time
out。孩子自己也不高兴，家里被爸妈宠了，到园里总被老师说。同时呢，老师也很头
疼这些个孩子，当时工作了一周，班里的lead老师(一个20个孩子，两个老师，加一个

if you DT once two days ago, it will be 2,2,2,3,3. In the next 3 days, you
have 2 more DT and 3 thereafter.
if you DT twice 2 days ago and once 4 days ago, it will be 0,1,1,3,3. Today,
you have no more DT, tomorrow you have 1 as your 4-day DT is lifted.

这个要看公司规定。一般来说，sick days 和 personal day 是不可以 cash out 的。
如果你真的不舍得，可以先用 sick day。然后 用 personal day。
当然，时间要安排得好。我以前试过提前两个星期通知老板辞职，然后想用 personal
day。HR 说通知了辞职就不能再用 personal day 了。早知道就先用，再通知了。 |
